I've always assumed that calling their system the "black box" was supposed to be a joke. In the context of working with data an algorithm that is black box means you see what goes in and what comes out but not how it reaches that decision. Starting to think they might have meant it literally and have no idea why these players are being recommended
Any recruitment department that signs 2 wingers on long term deals and a target man striker but the Manager has no use for them in his preferred system show how arse about face this structure we have in place really is . We will have the best coaching pathways for a club in the 4th Division so not all lost.
