Sounds great on paper, and he seems to have seen our potential along with Thomas, so, hopefully a good appointment. Thomas seems to be getting his people in place
In 1995, I attended trials for the South of England Universities representative side, which was held at Bath Uni and which he was running. I played a blinder. He didn't select me. Cock.

He probably recognised your form would be rather sporadic!

From someone who admittedly doesn't fully understand how football clubs operate, I am concerned that this is another level of management for the two Steves, who are both absolute crown jewels as far as the club is concerned. Hope this new guy doesn't start treading on toes that don't need to be trodden on. Would be interested to know the view of the two Steves (now and in a year's time).
I think he's basically TS's "football man" - TS is the CEO but if he needs to consult or have opinions on football matters then this is where Geddy comes in. Not to denigrate Bowyer or Gallen but to free them up to do their day jobs a bit more.
I love football forum analysis. We are guessing both the positives, negatives, alongside the risks and rewards in the appointment of somebody we hardly know, in a role we hardly know anything about.
I'm encouraged. Impressive CV. Let's face it we've had people reaching and covering gaps in the structure for years. Steve Gallen should be running the scouting and player acquisition operation for example, not being forced to give witness evidence in court proceedings as if he was the CEO. Most wanted a football person to come in to give Thomas the expertise he perhaps lacks in the industry. He is here after a few weeks.
Hopefully this means Lee and Steve x2 can focus on their jobs and be properly supported and not spend half their time doing jobs that should be someone else's.

A similar role to his time at the PL
along with Thomas, so, hopefully a good appointment.

Only this time we have someone a bit more sensible and experienced doing that role

to a story, lets see how things progress first, sounds like could
be good
So his role is a bit between Bowyer and Euell
