I'm hearing No One is a possibility, surplus to requirements at No where?0

It's looking like Fookin Noone again.DICKIE PLUMB said:

Shouldn't that be on the Piste Orff thread..🙄sillav nitram said:I'm hearing No One is a possibility, surplus to requirements at No where?0 -
Unless there is another striker lined up, we need to keep Stockley. All season people have been complaining that 2 strikers plus Chuks is not enough depth, but now we've signed Bonne and Leaburn is fit again, they want to go back to 2 strikers plus Chuks just because they're frustrated that Stockley's form has been poor this season. I don't see the rush to get rid of hi in January. Keep him around as an option/backup. See if a spell out of the side can help him rediscover some form either to be useful to us, or to improve his market value, and hopefully get rid and sign a replacement on better terms in the summer, perhaps with a new owner a more generous transfer budget.Cafc43v3r said:Stockley stay as 3rd/4th choice now is hardly the end of the world. If he is still here on the first of September that's a bit different. I would imagine him and Kirk would be the two that they want off the wage bill though.3 -
And the question is just how much longer must we put up with thisgrumpyaddick said:If you look at the numbers we are struggling to offload it underlines what an expensive catastrophe our recruitment, player analysis and black box nonsense has been over the last two years.
Someone should be held accountable but won't be because he is the owner's little boy.
Pathetic!
Another 6months another 18 months only Sandgaard knows.1 -

Can’t imagine there’s many clubs that are likely destinations for Stockley that could afford his wages.
He’s finished footballing wise and has got nothing to offer, so I can’t see him wanting to go anywhere to play. He’ll want to stay here until his contract is up.1 -
Should this not be on the jokes thread?Todds_right_hook said:
You've forgotten to add aneke 😬Pelling1993 said:Leaburn, Bonne, Stockley is fine for the rest of the season imo. Especially if we're only playing one striker1 -
The window with the clock counting down.
In: Bonne, Kane ( injured ) , Penney
Out: JFC , Big Mac, McGrandlesPenney will probably start and Bonne will have some involvement in most games start / bench. The three out players doubtful would have had any involvement so overall a slightly stronger squad but no more than a 6/10 so far.0 -

I feel that’s a slight underestimated assessment, though as ever with these things time will tell.MintoHumbugs said:The window with the clock counting down.

However for me, our strongest XI has not really been the issue but the depth that we possess overall. So far we’ve replaced 3 players who don’t really play, and replaced them with players with solid experience at or above our level, in positions we desperately needed.
I think that strengthens the squad more than just the sum of their individual parts.

No Jaiyesimi or Kirk in the 18 today.
Surely we can offload these two, even if only on loan until the end of the season, before the transfer window shuts.0 -

no point shipping them out if we dont bring in replacements and cover
still need to make sure we stay up and if there are a few injuries/suspensions they will be right back in
we dont want to have to rely on youngsters !5 -
Watching Gillette Soccer Saturday, just said that Jack Marriot not playing today as maybe being transferred. One we could be interested in?0

One of them is replaced already by Campbell coming through the ranks.CharltontillidieCOYR said:

Well let’s hope if they are shipped out then the wages are spent elsewhere, as the squad desperately needs it. I just hope this isn’t a big cost cutting exercise.sam3110 said:

Plus no Stockley, Lavelle, Aneke, Thomas.Fortune 82nd Minute said:No Jaiyesimi or Kirk in the 18 today.

Holden expecting to be busy until the deadline
Stockley out with a tight calf.3 -
“We’re ready for it. We need to trim the squad hopefully. Ideally we’d love to add as well.”Didn’t like this comment from Holden. More and more seems like this ‘takeover’ is a smokescreen for TS cost cutting exercise.12

Exactly - "We need to trim the squad"

Same old window under Thomas. Last minute deals and a likely statement from Holden at midnight to say one fell through1

Stockley out with a tight calf.
Suspect it's the same injury as Scott Parker had before we played Gillingham in the cup all those years ago shortly before he joined Chelsea.
And now our "star" player is joining Gillingham, not Chelsea.
How the mighty have fallen!1 -
I feel the whelmoniter coming on and it's not just the curry from last night!0

I doubt anyone is getting their hopes up. But if you are just remember Lavelle and Jayesimi were last minute panic buys on deadline day and we've been stuck with them ever since1
-
It’s sickening how we’ve been allowed to rot.
Bolton were in the Premier League at the same time as us but the gap now between squads is there for all to see.
They have a clear way of playing and a set of players who all buzz around and fit into that.
We aren’t going to make the play offs but where’s the planning for buying players that fit into a philosophy? What is Andy Scott doing?
Matt Penney, Bonne and Kane on deals to the end of the season is not planning.
But then again, Holden isn’t signed up beyond that anyway.
Shambolic and more of the same next season unless a proper takeover kicks in. And yeah, I mean Peter Varney.2 -
I think we’ll potentially see Kirk, DJ, Thomas and Stockley leave. We’ll have one loan arrival and get a message saying we were trying for more but we should be glad that we’ve kept Leaburn and Dobbo. The Man U money will never be mentioned again and the figures that have been working with/for TS will disappear and TS will be pleased as there will have been big savings ahead of his hopeful summer sale.eaststandmike said:
