OFFICIAL! Pitch Invasion ANNOUNCEMENT!

Shouldn't have gone public, shoulda kept it a secrete IMO4
-
The area would have been full of both parties above anyway. The club would have been prepared for any scenario regardless of this being leaked or not.Bedsaddick said:Big big mistake to go public. The ground will be swarming with old bill and stewards now.

Even if it had been leaked, why bring more attention to it?2

Exactly. Not like it's the next big hit album and is rushed to be released after it leaks. This is (I'm guessing) something that wasn't going to be announced, so why announce it anyway? Just odd... If it isn't a bluffcafctom said:Even if it had been leaked, why bring more attention to it?

Whatever happens its going to hit Rat and Pinocchio where it hurts, in the pocket. They will have the place crawling with Police, at massive cost to themselves.

It was always going to be announced!
There are loads of reasons we have announced this all of which I won't go into but let's just say it was going to happen and we want it to be PEACEFUL hence why it has been made public!
The plan was to announce it on Sunday though before kick off
The club already knew a pitch invasion was planned and it was discussed at the security meeting with the club.
They also admitted they couldn't stop it so just asked it be kept peaceful.
I also don't think they plan to stop it but we will see I guess!!5 -
I hope I'm wrong but I do suspect there is a bit more to this than meets the eye. Definitely seems a bit odd.1
-
I'll have a dirty protest in the North Upper.8
-
Sorry chaps I don't think this will happen, as people have said they will just employ more stewards (I nearly, nearly called them something else!) and line the pitch. I think it will still 'look good' though on tv as they will have to mention WHY they have added security AND it will take another few grand out of Belgium bollocks's pockets. Also it will certainly turn a bit iffy if these said stewards start to throw their weight about.
Good luck for Sunday fellas...................stay safe!!3 -
I don't condone any form of illegal protest, but accept that other people have the right to express their dissatisfaction as long as it does not injure or harm individuals (including themselves)
Could I suggest that those with season tickets consider not having them on their person, should they decide to protest in this way. We dont want to lose you guys forever.....4 -

I'm going to attend now, only thing is I'll sit in the north upper - any chance of a stannah stairlift being installed so I can get down to the pitch?</blockquote

If we are winning we will still be on the pitch! Do you think one win will heal the mess we are in?
We want these pricks OUT what is so hard to understand? There will soon be no team to watch!!! 38mill in debt to Roland already in 2 years!
Have you not looked at Bolton?34 -
What is embarrassing about seeing loads of stewards lined around the pitch?MrLargo said:
That'll cost a few quid, and look embarrassing on Sky when they're lined up all the way round the pitch.SELR_addicks said:Shouldn't have gone public, there'll be stewards completely lining the pitch now.

From a marketing point of view its brilliant to announce this. The fear and embarrassment of it actually happening will knock the regime. It's also a cracking diversion for what might be happening elsewhere. Very clever - wasn't planning to come but this changes things now for me. All that hard work by everybody over the years has been washed away and if this is what it takes then so be it. The regime want submission and we cannot allow this. Yes this smacks of things down in Bermondsey but sometimes you have to get your hands a bit dirty.20

If we're winning, you got any more jokes?kimbo said:Big mistake. What happens if we are winning ? Lose all respect for your efforts if this goes ahead.
Seriously though, doesn't matter if we're winning. What happens on the pitch doesn't matter anymore.18 -

Sorry mate don't agree with 'good old Bill'..........I guess I'm old enough to know there are a lot more things a lot more important than bloody football!i_b_b_o_r_g said:For those partaking in a bit of casual disruption this Sunday, remember this.....

Sorry chaps and chapesses, don't know why you got 4 bloody pictures of Bill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!15
-
Non taken Chas pal, but I don't think it was said to be taken literally, just to stir the old blood a bit.

Say what you want people wanted to up the anti! we provided a platform and support by 200 people to do to!
I went to Belgium cause I love OUR club and I will join the 200 on the pitch!!!

Embarrassing for Two Shats. Any need for additional security or policing is a direct result of his mismanagement and the complete and utter incompetence of the misfits he has left in charge whilst he plays the absentee landlord.BR7_addick said:

Absolutely every protest that we make is in direct response to the owner. If he has a shred of humanity about him, he will be embarrassed.8 -
