Interestingly Ted bishop has just posted a goodbye message to Lincoln fans on his Instagram. Wonder if he's signed elsewhere or if we're still looking to get him in? Seems odd timing.

Wasn’t sure where else to post this but this seems to be the busiest thread, this is the predictions from some journalists. Quite interesting
The Racing Post, in their pre-season verdict had us in 5th and Rotherham winning it which I see that none of the other pundits did. Gabriel Sutton had them in 10th!!!

I’m a truly terrible gambler when it comes to football.
Every year I lose loads (ish - under £50) betting on Charlton to get promoted, except for 2019 when we did get promoted - when I only lost a little. This year I’ve had a couple of quid e/w on Wimbledon for the title, after the 2-0 defeat to them, where they looked quite good. I thought 18/1 was reasonably generous.
Slightly surprised that Posh are ranked so highly, as they've had a major squad churn.
But then doing predictions before the window closes always feels quite premature, as there will still be key business to do.
They're always there or thereabouts though. Made some potentially decent signings, the non-league POTY, our ex-player Abraham Odoh, a centre back from the Swedish top flight, and a couple of kids on loan from Man City and Sheff Utd.
Can someone talk to Nathan / Andy / Charlie and suggest they take a look at Will Dennis at Bournemouth?
Commanding goalkeeper, coming off an impressive loan spell at Kilmarnock - helping them into European qualification. 14 clean sheets in 36 appearances.
Bournemouth just bought a highly rated, young fourth goalkeeper from Wellington Phoenix this summer so there’s room for Dennis to go out on loan, or be sold, this summer.
Surprised Lincoln are tipped so highly after losing the best keeper in the league last year, Mitchell and Sorensen. Can't see them being as good defensively at all.

Is Ted Bishop one of the characters on Postman Pat? I can picture him holding a parcel and having hair made of wool?

No that’s Ted Glen. Looks like former Charlton Chief Executive, Steve Waggott
"Palace want the loan club to pay all of his wages as well as paying a loan fee in order to stand a chance of landing the winger."
Is that normal these days for the most sought after players for loan club to pay 100% wages and a fee?
If true, doesn’t that imply that Palace reckon the player is worth a lot more than they are paying him ? Isn’t that where the agent earns their money and finds a new club ?
JRS isn't an unknown kid being sent out for experience, he's now a financial "asset" worth a significant amount, so those sort of terms are understandable. Making it a nonsense for us to be same conversation as big Championship clubs on parachute payments.
JRS will be an interesting one to where he ends up. Can't see Palace selling this summer after already selling Olise so I think it will be the pick of the top of the championship. Hull would make a lot of sense after losing Jaden Philogene.

I think it’s more that a player like JRS will have plenty of interest and there will be clubs willing to pay a fee on top of his wages.

And how pissed off would he be if he came back to us, or any L1 club?

Another nonsense rumour.
