If a player does not want to join us then we don’t want him .. simple . We are ok in the keeper department there no panic we don’t need a keeper for Saturday … we lost out on two keepers one went to Celtic and one gone to play in the top league in Spain .. yet there are clowns blaming the club !!!!

Perhaps we're aiming just a little too high. Its great to be ambitious but if your targets are signing for Premier League & La Liga sides then you might just need to lower your sights a tad.

I don't think we were aiming too high in this case, he was set to join us. We just left it a little bit too long, not helped by the faffing from Davies and Begovic insisting on too much money. If we'd been able to get to the stage we were at a few days earlier I think we'd have had him
Skipped a few pages what happened with Begovic? Has he gone elsewhere or we just been told its not happening?
Not happening because of wages.
This is one that if he don’t get a club by end of the window he will come crawling back and accept our offer ..we will have filled the position by then .

Happy with the start, directionless in the middle and frustrated at the end. Overall a long drawn out process.
The fact we only need 3 players at this point isn’t too bad and I think Potts will sign who’s already in the building. Never known us to have so much depth think it’s been a good window and I’d rather wait to get the right players as there’s still 3 weeks of the window left.
If only Hein hadn't been mentioned on here, the deal could have been sealed for Charlton but the football world is watching Charlton Life and ready to pick off any talent we spot ...
I just hope we can hold on to our most talented player Scott Fraser and as long as no one comes in for any of our goalkeepers we should be just fine .

Or, if you want a really good goalie you pay really good wages. Just saying.
