Not enough for a real opinion, all I know is he’s highly regarded at Everton and got tied to a long term contract a few months ago. Says a lot about a 19 year old.
With it being Thursday, and near the end of transfer window, you’d assume we would get a nice bit of news coming today. Press day, day before SLP goes out as well. Fingers crossed.
I can understand people saying bogle is not up to it and not good enough but what I can’t understand is how people think Aneke is a world beater.
His the most inconsistent player I’ve ever seen I think. Did he even touch the ball last night The last 2 games his come on as sub I don’t think his managed to get anywhere near most of our long balls out of deference. You need to a least challenge the defender. Bogle still done this and was when he got dragged of early. But twice now Aneke has done it and nothing is said.
How people think his good enough to play in championship is beyond me.

Simms comes on for his league debut and scores twice in 20 minutes.

Avid follower of football. Someone asks me what are my interests, I generally struggle to say anything much beyond football. Sad really. I have others like injuries, anatomy, psychology etc, as well as my music, but otherwise it’s just football.
Currently work for CACT doing a whole range of things all the time. But continuously looking to get in the professional game. I won’t hide that fact. Yes, I have some contacts but they’re not anything major. Overall, just love football.
All I’ve done is pointed out his lack of consistency in controlling the ball and heading and the fact he can’t play 90 mins.
How come we can moan about bogle or Gilbey but not Aneke. It looks like you’ve already started on stockley his slow as my Nan. Aneke will score more goals than stockley should we send stockley back now going to be as bad as bogle if he don’t score ain’t. he.
All you are going on about is his goal ratio which for the chances his missed in last few games should be about 5 more goals.

I’ve compared him to our previous strikers in league one and even got back that he has a better goal ratio than kermagant.

Aneke is the most efficient goal scorer in the squad. That's a fact. We'd be in a worse position without his contribution. Also fact.
aneke scoes gpals, bullies defenders, is capable of some sublime skill, rips past players and smashes the ball into the net - the down side is his injury proneness and he occasionally miscontrols the ball - the miscontrolling is the only similarity to bogle and that is why the odd bit of bad controlstill leaves him well in credit whereas bogles redeeming features aren't so obvious to most

Even I have seen that one. Story line is a bit thin and the acting is beyond wooden although the young Joseph Fiennes is solid. The scene with plumber and the crane driver is unforgetable though.

He was involved in a few Everton league games at the start of the season. I'd be surprised if he were to go out on loan to a league 1 club.

I think we’d still like to get Randall but that will be tough. I am expecting a Cullen type midfielder to be the priority though. We shall see but I still think we may see at least one more departure.

I saw Millar as separate from the forwards in bowyers eyes. He mentioned 2 starting and 2 on the bench post match the other day, I saw that as Washington, Stockley, Aneke and one of Smyth/Bogle. Now two of them are gone I think he will reinforce there.
