Before the events of yesterday I remember reading a post from somebody saying it will be what it will be. And it was. Lets not go for each other so much and save that energy to target the real issues.
Funny how none of the others who ACTUALLY planned this protest have stood up in defence
Ironically it seems I have been used as the "puppet"
I accept that fact I should have went on the pitch but I felt it was ruined by the guy who kicked off. Those around me also agreed at the time it would have no effect and with boos from the crowd, it wouldn't help the cause.
That on top of somehow becoming the leader of this protest. And getting the full heat from the club and the police put me off I guess.
Looking back I should have posted here to say it was a no go! but we honestly were sitting they at the 55th minute still prepared to go.
On the pitch protest will never EVER happen now at the valley! and those who criticize those trying to do something will have to put up with Rolland I'm afraid.
We had on good grounds that Rolland sold Standard due to hostile actions of the fan base and he was forced to by the authority's. This will all come out in the press I'm sure in good time. But I heard it first hand in Sint-Truiden.
I wont name names, and am happy to take the flack! but you all know who you are!
Anyway I'm truly SORRY to anyone who feels I let them down.
As someone suggested I shouldn't be involved in further protests - and I don't intend to.

I have a 3 year ban to sit out anyway
Well done.
that reads like a sincere apology, as a fan I think getting "involved" in future protests is a good idea but I think if you are organising them, people may remember "No ifs, no buts".
I'm not trying to have a dig at you, Some of the CARD protests that you have been involved in have been tip-top. Keep the faith, we will get our club back.

Sitting in judgement after the game is easy.
I was so disappointed that the events, that were trumpeted up so high by C4FC4L1f3 during the week, failed to materialise (although I didn't agree with the tactic). Such an outcome was always going to severely impact upon whatever credibility he had previously on this site. He has said "sorry", so from my point of view, lesson learnt and time to move on.

1> I think you did this all by yourself by starting two threads on the subject and posting the same thing on at least one more.
2> You didn't have to go on the pitch, but you were still encouraging others to do so after the game had started.
3> When did the club and the Police put you off? Was it at 58 minutes? Only yesterday your post made it look like you'd made the decision that others should go on the pitch but you weren't going to!
4> Were you really still planning to go on the pitch at 55 minutes, only that's not quite what you said yesterday?
5> Ok so now those that have criticised you are responsible for us having to put up with Roland? Was your, aborted, pitch invasion the only thing that was ever going to shift him?
6> I'm not sure I'd have believed this if you'd shared it before you lied to encourage others to break the law, I'm certainly not going to buy it now.
Refusing to get involved again makes you seem a little childish and spiteful.
In reality, had you offered a true, honest, heartfelt apology without the digs at others and inconsistencies (I'm deliberately not saying lies) with other comments you've posted, I'm sure many more people would have accepted that you got a little carried away, and, unintentionally, misused the trust and respect that been offered to you from the trip to Belgium. Sadly this post, for me, makes you look like you are more cross at people criticising you than you are sincerely sorry for misleading them.
In order to avoid making myself look like I'm on a witch hunt (which I'm not) I won't comment on this subject again and I won't keep bringing it up, but C4FC4L1f3 you could probably do with a bit more humility in your posts for a little while on here. There is no need to no longer be involved with those that are trying to help the club, you just, probably, need to accept that, for a while at least, it is going to be difficult for you to convince others to follow your lead or to believe everything you say.
A definite well done to Boggzy. I was ready to go on if there were hundreds going on, but as only 2 went on early & one started abusing the players, it was a no no.
Regarding C4FC4Lif3. You've totally confused me and everyone as to what went on.
Anyway two things I don't get.
1 How come the police & club were talking to you. How do they know you ?
2 Why have you got a 3 year ban, as you didn't go on the pitch ?
There was another pitch invader on Sunday. I spotted this bloke entering the pitch a couple of times during play. He and his mate were also involved in the destruction of private property. I look forward to hearing that he's got a three year banning order.
Not sure how I feel about this but I agree with a couple of other posters that it was too widely braodcast to be succesful. There was a big group standing in front of where I sit but there was very quickly a lot of stewards and police facing them. Also timing was a bit of an issue straight after our goal which only caused a confrontation with our players. If a pitch protest is going to be successful then it has to be with bigger numbers and unexpected.
Maybe the right time would be between when the players go off after warm up and the kick off so the protest delays the start of the game. Everyone remains seated until someone blows a whistle and then we all walk to the centre circle stay there, numbers is everything I guess but that could work IF there are enough but if it's only 3-4 then they will be ejected from the ground and that will be it. Respect to those who did go on on Sunday personally I haven't the minerals to do it the way they did.
According to Facebook the bloke only got a £7.50 meal deal voucher, A night out with Colin and a 3 year Season ticket .
A night out with Colin?
I've wanted to raise the Colin issue for a bit as I am fully convinced "Colin" is KM from behind a keyboard.
Certainly wouldn't rule it out. If Colin is real genuine full on charlton fan and an independent thinker not trying to get attention or is a WUM...I would be shocked.

'Centre circle' response team and he's picking up balls from next to the goal, he must have got his tactical positioning training from the same person that give Makienok his
According to Facebook the bloke only got £175 fine. 50 hours community service and a 3 year Charlton ban. He doesn't think its national.
Iv'e got some really bad news for him, my ex is a court clerk and was there when the sentence was handed down and I asked her to clarify with the Judge, it's actually far worse than he may fear, wait until he gets the letter tomorrow............... as a tip off (but ssshhh no one tell him):
1. There is no ban, 2. & 3. will explain
2. There is a £175 fine, however 'fine' isn't quite true it's a victims compensation payment. The victim being CAFC (ha) who receives the £175, but here's the kicker, in return you get a seat next season in the Lower North ;-)
3. 50 Hours Community Service, again, he'd better sit down for this one. It's a play on words, as you may know Charlton have been put forward in the 'Best Community Club Category', so his community service is at/for Charlton.
a. There are 9 games left this season, he has to go to them all, sit with Katrien and MUST NOT LEAVE EARLY. So thats 9 x 1.5 hours = 13.5 hours. He can then have the summer off to recover, which he'll need to as he's also travelling to the away games in the laundry bus with Katrien, believe the drivers some bloke called Darrel or Karel, something like that anyway, nice bloke by all accounts just a bit inexperienced, every cloud and all that.
b. There are 23 home games in League 1 next year. 23 x 1.5 hours = 34.5 hours.
Total 48 Hours..... so what about the remaining 2 hours you might ask....... well O.M.G. this is gonna hurt worse than the kickers above, I nearly passed out when she told me..........
c. During the 4 remaining home games are 15 minutes for each half time, now KM normally nips off for a hot bovril and hotdog, well not for you my man, you have to sit in her seat watching the subs warm up and write your lines, at least 50 each game, you will have to write:
'I promise to eat my brussel sprouts and never run on Rolands lawn again'
Now the bright one's amongst us will work out that still leaves an hour..... I'm not sure, can only think that's the 2%........as we all know, Charlton don't give a stuff about the 2%...
I warned you it was nasty, really feel for the fella........let that be a lesson to us all.
