When you've got a crucial late-season relegation six-pointer, the main thing is to keep things tight for 82 minutes and then bring your best player on, so let's at least give Riga credit for that.
Tonight was our last hope. At least show some fucking bollocks and try to win the game. Hope Sunday's protests are good. Count me in for abandoning the game.
This has to be worst on pitch team for performances, spirit, management and bottle. Duchatelet and Meire don't have a clue about the heart needed in a team. League 2 will be difficult to avoid under these muppets.
Riga tactically inept. Was that a manager setting up for a must win game? A blind man could see it wasn't working after 25 minutes. If Lookman started second half or even had 30 minutes we would of won game. Poyet had been anonymous in evetygane and Makienok is stealing a living.
Still at least we aren't preparing for league 1 by having Hendo not in the squad and Lookman gets in the window for a few minutes at the end of the game.
Had a couple of narrowly missed chances by the sound of it but not enough and no goals
Baffling team selection. Taking off Harriott when he was the best player. Sanago on the bench. Lookman not on until 82 mins. Riga showing he does not have a clue like the rest of the appalling and clueless Duchatelet regime.
No chance of staying up now - happy to help make the regime's life a misery. If that includes delaying/abandoning games all for it - at least I won't have to watch that fucking dross
Another Belgian puppet these think they can pull the wool over our eyes time and time again. I was willing to give him a chance but hes just as bad. Ridiculous team selection and substitutions Harriot was our best player before being subbed and bringing Lookman on for last 7 mins! What a joke club we are. Fuck off Roland. 3 words.. we are down.
1 shot on target, appalling substitutions, a team with such a lack of organisation it's laughable and a striker who well frankly should never see a Charlton shirt ever again. For what was a must win game the lack of ideas was absolutely horrific
There you go Roland. "Your" manager does exactly what you wanted...a Charlton team that's "nice".
I'm delighted that results don't matter to you, although a little puzzled how that tallies with the fact (according to Katrien, so must be true) that you "don't do losing"! Perhaps you could explain that one in your next visit to see your children in SE7! Whichever year that may happen in.
Alternatively...feck off...right now and take Kat, Jose and anything else you have left stinking up our once proud club!
Cant wait for Riga's excuses tonight...poor team selection...very poor subs......just bloody clueless and i was one of the few willing to give him a chance.....I would have loved to have heard his team talk and his HT talk....I reckon i could have done better.....I'm just out of words now over this completely inept ownership and management....please please please have some honour and leave RD!! Merie should take a leaf out of the CEO at Sunderland's book, realise she has made massive mistakes and resign for the good of the club and take JR with you.
With the potential exclusion of the new head of comms who has seemed from what I've read, pretty decent if inexperienced, KM can take every single person she has ever been involved in hiring and even if they are not replaced the club would be better off.
They'll take relegation with no planning. Would not surprise me if Roland was behind the substitutions tonight via a live link. Made no football sense at all. He probably sees balancing the books will be a lot easier in League 1.
Just home and still baffled by the starting 11, tactics, formation and substitutions.
A must win game and out first attempt on target is fifteen mins into the second half. Seems we started with a back three and went to a back four fairly quickly with JBG joining Makienok up top.
Two poor teams who produced football of below mediocre quality. MK clearly accepted a draw and began to adopt the nightly tactics of kicking away the ball, arguing, giving free kicks away whenever we looked like attacking.
Harriot comes off for Sanogo. Our most dangerous player removed. Bergdich for Poyet shortly after. So a winger off for a forward and then a central midfielder off for a winger. Riga then puts our left wing back on the right of midfield.
Lookman on after 82 and there followed our most dangerous period of play. In the time he was on he was fouled more times than any other player. He put in better deliveries than JBG has recently and scared the life out of them.
Didn't see what Sanogo did but he has let us down badly. Means that Mak will now be playing for the next three games.
In terms of players Fanni looks a little off the pace. Tex, Motta and Yun clearly have quality. Cousins his usual driving self. Harriot was able to make the correct decision most of the time. Pope had to sort his kicking out and develop a sense of urgency.
We are down and if that is how we approach must win games then we deserve to be. If ever proof was needed that those at the top don't give a shit about relegation then this provided it in bucket loads.

Sanogo should never wear the shirt again.
Just when you think it can't get worse they play like that, exceptional in its crapness
We are down. If we had won today we would have had momentum, too late now.

He, as many of us knew, is a fraud.
He is part of this poison. A Belgian no mark like the rest. Time to go!
Get that feckin' regime out.
It's not being run as a football club anymore.

Depressing.
