5 place Grid Penalty for Bottas next race. Seems a bit harsh on first viewing. I felt his brakes just didn’t work properly. Maybe he braked just a bit too late.
Am away so haven’t been able to watch. Sounds like I missed a good one. Decent result for Lewis in the end and great to see RB have another shit race. Ginger Spice must be dreading her old man coming home tonight. Brilliant for Russell.
Mental race. That restart was bizarre. Bit of a balls up by Mercedes but Red Bull missed a trick too by not just putting Verstappen onto slicks for the restart. Always good to see a new winner.
Vettel looks to be getting a penalty due to not having 1l of fuel left
Looks like the stewards are going out of their way to find a penalty for him.
Unfortunately they don’t have to go out of their way. That’s a slam dunk - it’s not open to subjectivity unlike on track stuff - if you can’t provide a litre there isn’t much else the stewards could do
"It is believed team principal Otmar Szafnauer and technical director Andrew Green said there was 1.44 litres left in the car, but they (The officials) were unable to extract it."

They're appealing.
Its very rare, doesnt help that they only check seven cars randomly rather than the entire field, learnt that from someone on Social Media this evening - the fact that Vettel stopped in Sector Two probably made the FIA more suspicious than had he stopped by the pits like the Williams.
F1 rules dictate teams must ensure a one-litre sample of fuel can be taken from the car at any time during the event.
1) Hadn't the event finished? 2) Why not take a sample during the red flag? 3) Why not take a sample as the car is filled up? 4) Why didn't they take a sample from Ocon who also stopped his car on the track rather than at parc ferme?

I bet they decided before the race began the moment he came out with that top on.
A real shame for Vettel, who’s not only become really likeable this year, but is also looking twice the driver he ever did at Ferrari.
Verstappen, on the other hand, is looking more and more like a sullen, selfish, spoilt brat with his inflammatory and not-even-thinly-veiled “taken out by a Mercedes again” comments. I admire his skill as a driver but he’s quickly becoming the driver I want to lose just because of his childish attitude, not helped by the fact he’s aided and abetted by “arsehole in chief” Christian Horner. Such a shame that these two men, highly skilled in their specific fields, are such a pair of wankers.

Edit... that makes sense actually - PHEW
Well maybe not Verstappen now
Of course they cant really answer that question, but always love the awkwardness that sort of thing creates
Pathetic. Getting fed up with these post race post mortums.
Feel for Seb although 7th & 8th for Williams which is great (plus it gives Lewis another 2 point advantage over the spoilt brat from RB)
Magically appears when Vettel has protested before a race. Interesting is all.
