  • Put the world on hold and wait till Max says we can breath again , prick can’t be Dutch they’re cool as fuck
  • Sorry about the dreadful standard of picture, watching a documentary on Williams and this popped on screen, not this year obviously but any one want to claim it's them.
  • Is that taken at the '85 Grand Prix of Europe at Brands Hatch?

Is so, then I'm pretty sure I recognise the handsome chap in the blue rugby top.
  • No it's later than that as Hamilton was racing a Mercedes but I would guess about 5 years ago but they never mentioned the year. Can't comment on looks I'm afraid.
  • You see it with football managers when they lose. If you are competitive, that comes out sometimes when a microphone gets pushed in your face. Horner, will I'm sure think better of it when the anger subsides. Which it will.
Not sure about that! If you watch the last two seasons of Drive to Survive on Netflix Horner consistently comes across as a cock!
He absolutely loves stirring the pot , I did find the team radio messages to Michael Masi yesterday very amusing.

Here we go again - the knuckle draggers are out. All this is doing is emphasising why he takes the knee before races, not to mention puts time in a commission aimed at bringing more diversity to motorsport.

So - will we get a statement from RB and Horner versus what they have now kicked up?
Their current silence is deafening!! (Edit: Thankfully they have now posted a statement of their own)

Could even go some way to question if Horner / Helmut should be suspended for a race themselves - It really feels like their words have whipped everyone into a bit of a frenzy, bit like we've seen in other instances these last couple of years.

It's so depressing, looking through the reaction on twitter yesterday I saw a load of it myself. Reported all that I saw but I hate how hopeless it feels and especially so when the platforms definitely have the tech to stop it.

Red Bull have made a statement condemning it but I have no confidence that the next race Lewis wins won't result in the same comments being fired his way online.
  • Red bull seem really ruffled about this. They still have the superior car, maybe they know something we don't about the Mercs
  • They are not doing themselves any favours by not letting this lie. It makes them look childish.

  • Lost all respect for red bull , they are another of my local teams & I've always wanted them to do well (as long as they r behind Mercedes!) I liked them because they appeared to like to race but their stance here is wrong & will do the brand more harm than good
  • Horner is still complaining about the incident and suggesting they might still take it further.
I can’t remember an incident where a team principal has continued to gripe for so long. It’s embarrassing. He’s making himself look a complete idiot.
Always thought he was just a bit of a tool but he’s proved himself a complete twat over this. I’ve always respected what Red Bull have achieved in F1 but I really hope it goes tits up in a spectacular way for them this season.
  • Tunnel vision.

Horner has argued Hamilton was desperate but just who has looked the more desperate in all of this. Nobody but nobody had subjected Verstappen to the pressure Hamilton put him under. He was all over him like a rash from the start line and Verstappen did not have the professional ability to handle it.

Hamilton took him into a street fight and Verstappen tried to respond in the wrong way.

If Red Bull have grounds for legal action or redress don’t consider it - just do it.

It is 7yrs since Red Bull and Mr Horner held the title. He and Mr Kuno have talked Red Bull into a huge investment in recruiting Mercedes development staff.

Just who sounds the more desperate?

For Mercedes it is precisely what it should be. Just another day in the office.

  • Red Bull have successfully got a stewards meeting on Thursday to discuss the incident further.
  • The commentators are going to be unbearable at the first corner of any race now arent they when Max and Lewis are one and two

Oh absolutely , and it's all they're going to talk about anyway all weekend. Honestly am bored of it being the only talking point
  • Anyone else seen The Silver War? It's a fan made film documenting the 2016 Rosberg vs Hamilton battle. I've been watching it this week and not only is the film brilliant, it shows how good that season was compared to what we've had since.

I hope and pray that the rest of this season plays out similarly, how good would it be to be going into the final few races with Max and Lewis neck and neck

Film is here for anyone interested:
