Will be very interesting now in the early stages of the race. Mercedes will gamble and pit at least one of them on lap 1, maybe even pit again on lap 2 and see if they can gamble on the strategy that way, and the Ferrari seems to be more grippy, and they usually start better than McLaren so Leclerc has a chance to get his nose in first at the start

Was such a weird race. Can’t blame them for trying something new but the only thing that will make Monaco interesting is smaller cars and that won’t happen

I've not seen it, and doubt I will... Yet will watch the Formula 2 Feature Race when I get a chance - But the F2 Sprint race was ridiculous yesterday.

Yes the overtakes weren't exactly great from Lindblad / Goethe, but the penalty for the latter seemed especially harsh, and equally seemed ridiculous that Monaco is hard enough as it is with overtaking - So to penalise a driver for achieving an overtake around there, its almost like they WANT a procession.

They need to create a level of leniency... Just because its Monaco

I’d watch at least some highlights just to see Russell’s “overtake”, the context behind it and his frustration. It was quite something to watch

Alex Palou is a f**king monster over in IndyCar right now.

Get him over into an F1 seat!!

Although its f**king hilarious when American fans took the piss when Verstappen was dominating, saying that Indy was better, and now Palou is doing exactly the same thing in their "Going round in Circles" series.

Bet Cadillac hate that he's not an American, else I bet they'd be all over him for next season.

No Lance Stroll tomorrow due to complications from his wrist injury from 2 years ago. Due to undergo surgery

Might miss the Canadian GP in 2 weeks.

Are they allowed to sub in a reserve or is it too late because they didn't partake in qualifying?

Apparently not allowed as Drugovitch hasn't taken part in any practice or qualifying.

Drugo can't race tomorrow because he hasn't done practice or qualy. Can see him being needed for Canada though in 2 weeks because Wrist surgery surely isn't being healed that quick?

Didn't he recover from wrist surgery ahead of the Bahrain GP last year in quite a short time period?

Felipe has the worst luck doesnt he!!

If it was Bearman that was the Reserve it would have happened this weekend during FP

Apparently Drugo is claiming to the Brazilian press he'd prioritise Canada but I'll believe that when it happens. Would expect he's got an ironclad deal with Caddy for Le Mans that he has to fulfil

He wouldnt even be Aston Martin's first choice to replace Alonso, that'll be Verstappen.

So yeah, why not burn bridges with Cadillac who themselves are entering F1

The England team are on the grid as they’re playing out in Barcelona on Friday.

Shame to see Bukayo Saka come across so rude when approached to say a few words.

That was madness from Max, but why the hell were Red Bull telling him to let Russell through? - I did think he was ever ahead of Verstappen at T1

Only a +10 for Max is very very lenient. Should be a DSQ
