Wolves fans still seem to be pretty set on Henry leaving still, and with I being known that he wants to come I can see it happening. The worrying thing is I was told that Lenglet would also be done by Monday or Tuesday, and given that that he played yesterday and there's been no update today it looks like it could be off.

Why is it worrying? Is Lenglet (a player 90% of the posters on this forum had probably never heard of 10 days ago) the only centre back who we could possibly sign?
We'll sign a centre back. When? Don't know. Who? Don't know.

It really isn't something to worry about.
I agree with you to an extent, but the fact is we have missed out on plenty of players in this window, the majority of which haven't even been discussed. I know that a few ''marquee" type signing have already fallen through. With Lenglet looking like such a promising young player, who not only half solves our problem at CB but also covers at RB, it'd just be nice for us to get a big signing over the line. It won't be cheap either, Juventes had a fairly hefty bid rejected earlier this summer or in January I think, meant to be around 3.5 million.
Haven't got names of all of them. Pretty sure that De Sutter was highlighted as a big possible signing. Was quite reliably told that we had a few large bids accepted, only for players to turn us down.
Sarr on the way to Charlton FOLLOWS DEFINITIVELY TO ENGLAND AND YIELDS 2 MILLION Sunday , July 26, 2015 | 03:00 Photos: RUI MINDERICO
No space in the group of Jorge Jesus orders, the French center-back, Naby Sarr, is very close to leave Sporting, with Charlton to present itself as the leading candidate to receive the former Lyon. According to information gathered by Record at the close of the procedure source, this business is expected to fetch about 2 million to Leos safes. It is recalled that Sarr signed from Lyon in 2014/15 by 1 million euros.
Geraldes removing this equation - that followed for Belenenses even before the stage start in South Africa - Sarr is one of surplus awaiting placement. However, and despite the French being very close to leave Alvalade, there are still several outstanding dossiers: Miguel Lopes is interested in Turkey and Spain; Labyad is being followed by Vitesse, PAOK and Granada; Viola is to be sold outright, as Heldon; Rubio is in the crosshairs of SC Braga and Guimaraes.; Wilson Eduardo can to head to the City of the Archbishops; Rabia is desired in the Al-Ahly, but Sporting prefer to loan him to a European club. There are still Slavchev, looking for a solution for the future.
From what I can gather from that, they are saying though it looks like it will happen, a lot of their defenders are being tracked by clubs, and they don't expect all of them to leave permanently
Started 4 games in the Champions League group stages including a win v Schalke and narrow 1-0 defeat to Chelsea.
He scored with a header from a set piece v Schalke.
Started 8 games in the Top flight but was on the bench as first choice back up thereafter as it appears the same first choice pairing went injury free for the year.
After the positive Bauer experience and seeing his stats on paper - this would offer a serious upgrade on Bikey.
But she is clueless fanny and out of her depth, niave to say the least and a liar, 8)
Unless you view her like you and I seem to as someone doing a great job at a difficult period in our history and deserves respect time and trust to do her job, she is everything this club needed a touch of class to pull us through and be the middle between Rd and the fans
After Sheffield utd and the way she conducted herself with some passionate fans who were respectful to her but honest, she was granted that respect by me and others whom I know to get on and do her job
I am sure you could have worked the word 'parody' in if you'd tried harder
Well, a dear friend who shall be nameless travelled to Charlton from London Bridge with Katrien this afternoon.
Don't believe I am out of order to reveal something that we hoped was the case....that Guy chooses the players he wants for his squad NOT RD.
Katrien was incredibly positive about the coming season, indicated that a couple more players will be added soon and that 70 points is the target.
And, just for you, Bolderhumphreyreid, negotiations with Henry are ongoing and that it appears he does want to come to SE7.
Hope I've not upset anyone else by posting this but if Katrien is happy to talk about these issues with a fan, then she must be happy for us all to know the situation. After all, this is all positive stuff and the sort of thing we want to hear, isn't it ?
Anyone think Lennon looked good yesterday, and also Sakho who was on top form in the PL last season was kept very quiet by Bauer and Diarra, I think one CB is needed personally.
