  • Just a (stupid) question:
Did anyone on here damage, or know someone who damaged, a car after the game ?

I banged into a wing mirror due to the congestion and my clumsiness (and a few beers) but it didnt break off (bloody hurt though, right in the ribs!)

Does that count? What do I win?

  • Plaaayer is quiet ...hmmmm
  • So is AFKA
  • Afka and plaaayer not seen in days and a leopard in a g string mysteriously appearing
  • If people actually acted more sensibly and didn't hate people they don't know, just because they support another football team, everything would be far more pleasant. It is totally irrational, all this tribal rivalry. Shouting abuse at people you don't know is pretty pathetic in my opinion. You don't get this in other sports.

Rugby league has had plenty of trouble before.

I've seen crowd trouble at a boxing event and also at darts before.

Even in the ryder cup, you get USA fans chanting and shouting to put off European golfers.

  • That ironing's mounting up...

I just wonder what it will be like versus Millwall?! Will they use same tactics with Millwall? Hope the boozers are still open, so normal abiding fans can have a drink before the game...

Asked in the Lib, all pubs in Charlton will be closed that day.

    Fantastic...

Bovrils all round then. I'll buy the first round..

No, no bang up to date , fear ye not!

Its the cleaning i've got to worry about.
  • thought our support was top draw today - police numbers were well ott - steward said there were more police than for millwall. I'm 41 years old and had kids with me and was tempted to smash up a few cars myself - not logical but something definitely happens when you are herded around like cattle. Not surprised the 'youth' got carried away. As fans, we did ourselves proud. All this holier than thou whinging bullshit - it's a football match, a local derby - what do you expect? It's football - it's what happens.
