  • Good times ahead.

    Let 'em roll...
  • Astonishing season. Play well and win. Play badly and win.
We are an excellent unit and the gods are finally smiling upon us again.
I think we'll do well next season too....
  • As everybody has said, not good today but still good enough to win.

And so People can moan about something Jim Davidson was in with us cheering and shouting with the rest of us.

Don't know if you could hear us in the main support but our little bit were singing "is that all you take away" and "who are ya".

    Made me laugh.
  • Quite a birthday present for me. Went out to a celebration meal during the first half. Just got home to see the result.
  • Nursing a beer waiting for my takeaway, home for some fodder, bottle of white chilling. Missus is being lovely today and looking gorgeous. Does life get better?

You bet your sweet arse it does!

Believe we've done it now. Can see no blip, no last minute collapse.

    Charlton are going up!
  • Need to make an apology on behalf of Virgin Media's crap internet for us/me stopping updating for the second half. It cut out and has only just come back. Sorry. Well done RM as usual I'm sure.
  • In a hotel in sunny Poole. What can I say - defence collossal otherwise we were piss poor. Stevens, Jackson, Green and BWP very poor.

We got lucky but how we celebrated and was definately over the line. As per 2001 it must be time for

    STAND UP FOR THE CHAMPIONS!
  • T'was out and about all afternoon with no internet access. Got back to the car just as we scored. I'm over the moon with that result today. Roll on Tuesday...
Exactly the same here ... incredible to hear the goal
  • Listening on the radio it got very nervy towards the end especially when Arter came close; went mad when Yann did the business. Role on Tuesday and hopefully a good crowd. Two home games on the trot is just what we want after a win like that. COYR's there are more records to break on the way to the Chapionship!.
  • Defence was shockingly deep against their lone forward who never looked to get in behind us. Solly given a tough time because Green went missing but coped well. Midfield outnumbered because of extra space. Two up front did well considering crap service. Managed to contain my joy in home end.

  • Not pretty - but will take the 3 points.

    Solly - immense........9/10
    Morro - superb.........8+/10

Frog - tireless, dedicated, and great to have him in the team.

"We've got Rhoys Wiggins - he's too good for you"
  • someone nicked my inflatable sheep
    That's your lovelife over then.

    ;o)
:D was going to put it to good use tonight when I get back to the travel lodge :(
  • Imagine how it feels to support any of the others tonight. Girls and boys, drink in this season because it is totally exceptional in so many ways. New owners, Manager, Team, and records being smashed, we may never see anything like it again. Take plenty of photos, otherwise your kids will never believe the stories. Where's my glass ?

Can I please say again, this is not a season to select one player of the year, salute the squad, in fact here'sto us all.
Love that post. That should be framed and sold in the club shop.
  • Nothing surprises me anymore about this team. It's almost as if you know we aren't going to let in more than a goal in and when Sky or the BBC say "there's been a late goal...." you don't need their confirmation that it's us that's scored.

  • didnt play very well but we dug in and made ourselves hard to beat ,said to the geezer next to me when we had the corner that we were gonna nick it and kermo obliged ,get in there my son.
  • Brilliant win made the dash there and back worth it. As others have said we didn't play well and I would have took a point but that last minute winner is what champions are made of

Just got back. Had a feeling as the game went on that something like this would happen. We were on the side where the lino was and we gave him a bit of stick for some dodgy decisions but he made up for it by seeing the ball cross the line. Bournemouth were a decent side but lacked that cutting edge ( like most teams we have played ) and I thought that shot by Arter in the last few minutes crept in. Went absolutely berzerk when we scored in added on time. Great day out made even better by the other results. Also have to say what a shift Solly put in. Man of the match by a country frickin mile. I think about 2 crosses got past him all day and he had Malone in his back pocket the whole game.
  • Defended well, fellow players were below par, resorted to the long ball, we wasnt really troubled that much and you could sense we were going to nick a goal. Solly man of the match by a mile. Mini pitch invasion when we scored was funny.
  • what a brilliant point about player of the year!!!
  • Bournemouth are a very decent side and if they keep playing like that will make the play-offs. Arter's shot had my heart in my mouth, couldn't believe it when it rolled wide. Such has been our season :-)

    Solly MoM as usual.

  • Enjoyed what looked like the whole of the 460 opposite doing the bouncy bouncy at the end.
  • did anyone get any videos or photos of today?
Got a couple from the last min and after the game after getting in the away end

  • Having spent 90 mins keeping relatively quiet in the home end block next to cafc fans, couldn't hold back when goal went in and ran towards the away end and hurdled a ridiculous barrier to celebrate in our end. Fuck me, adrenaline still pumping. Don't even know who scored
    Loving it mate.

Loved today , felt 20 years younger having the 'YOOF ' around me , doing the bouncy bouncy , and singing at the top of my voice , naff perm , great result , think we've used up a get out of jail free card today!

    We are going up....

    Say we are going up!
  • Probably about the worst we've played all season.........midfield went missing for large parts of the game & JJ looked so leggy. We had just 1 shot at goal during the first half and although we stepped it up during the second, I had setted for a point & was just hoping that we would hold on. B'mouth looked a tidy team but as has been said on here a few times, they didn't take their chances & we did.

Only dampner was that we got back to the car to find we had been given a parking ticket............thought the big car park was free & didn't see the ticket machine on our way in !!! Ticket timed at 3pm..........bast***s !!!!!!!!!!

hay ho, things could be worse - I could be a blade !!!
  • I couldn't listen today as at a function but managed to get internet on a laptop in a corner somewhere. And kept going to check. Ok, every few minutes, just to see when we scored. I had faith, despite the stats on the BBC suggesting to the contrary to the run of the game. For some reason it showed Russell comng on at 90 mins but the score was still showing 0 0 and 86 mins. But I just knew we'd scored! The number of times we have ground out a result and also scored just before half-time or in the 90 + minute is the mark of champions. My (late) dad instilled this in me, and he was oh so right. And the way the Shef U & Hudders games went is just amazing - sometimes I can't believe just how good things are, on top of our results. My friends out here are now starting to realise just how well we're doing and why I've been so excited. A Citeh fan said to me this evening 'bloody 'ell, 'ave you seen how far in front you are?'. All I could say was 'yes, that's what I've been banging on about for months' and he said he was impressed. Well, I'm impressed too. And bloody proud too. Bloody brilliant!
  • That league table is indeed 'a thing of beauty'!
  • If you don't get pipe after a day like today then not even viagra will help you!!
  • As others have said a poor performance except for the defence (and especially Solly who was immense), but who cares we're on our way!
