Disappointing day but they're going to happen. It would have been tough anyway but with Hamer going off that just made it more so. Also, with Green missing and JJ just back from a long layoff the balance just wasn't quite right. Let's turn this around against Brentford which also won't be easy. But, keep the faith all. :-)
Morrison was awful today, and solly was not superb at all, suddenly he decided what he wants to do most of all is hoof it aimlessly. He also let mooney in who really should have scored. Jackson should have come off for Sullivan, a half fit player is the last thing you want when playing with 10 men. Yann and BWP couldnt find eachother for love nor money, and hollands looked a bit lost when he switched to the left. Pritchard was lively when he came on, hayes was poor and didnt look a threat. Only real positive is the fitness of the squad, 10 men and we were still outrunning them in the final 15 minutes. Beat the sheffields and we're back where we started. Heres to a great 2012, COYR
Still had the belief we could get something at 0-0, but as soon as that goal went in it could have been 3 or 4 at HT. Great last 15 and we could have nicked a point there, but still 4 points clear at the top - i certainly would have taken that going into 2012.
Len Glover said: If at the start of August someone had offered 51 points from 23 games at New Year with just two defeats I'd have bitten their hands off. What happened today happened and is not really worth getting wound up about or analysing too much.
Powell needs to learn that if you are in a trench looking for people to stand up and be counted bwp ain't your man, we were shite bar solly and wiggins everyone else was a 5 out of 10,
Hats off to the old boy who fronted the divs that sung the lisbie song, I was with you my man all night long, to the div that only wanted to front an old man., shame on you prick you shouldve come outside and squared it off like I said you no mark mug, I hope you post here I'd love to discuss it further
The sending off completely changed the game - you can't, in my opinion, say that we'd have been cack even with 11 on the pitch. I feel CP got it wrong - Jackson, just back from injury, should've made way for Sullivan.
That said, playing 86 minutes with 10 men, a draw was the best we could expect and we couldn't quite manage it.
Good to hear people acting about the Lisbie song. Hamer got it wrong and we got the run around because of it. As others have said Wiggy and Solly were immense, Pritchard was also a constant out ball, using it very well. I also expected JJ to make way but maybe Waggy was not
10 or 11 men you have to give credit to Orient. They tore us apart at times and totally deserved to win. you can't say that of our other defeat at Stevenage. It's just a blip. We didn't get any suspensions or injuries which is good and MK and Huddrsfield slipped up too.
It was a correct decision by the ref no matter what anyone says. Hamer made the wrong decision. It's not fatal.
On Monday. i Would put Jacko on the bench as two games in three days is too much and play Green and Ephraim.
I don't think its fair to say that we wouldn't have won with 11. We have no idea what Waggy would have done, poor bloke never got a touch. Without him we had no width and completely lacked the pattern and rhythm we showed at Yeovil.
Had no clear view at all of the Hamer thing. Agree he shouldn't have got himself in that position.
But to Ashtray, our resident referee, I've got a question. If the ball strikes you between the top of your arm and your chest, is that "deliberate handball"?
Worried about Sullivan as Hamer's replacement for three games.
Oh well, as others have said we'd ALL have taken this situation if it were offered in August so no point sliting our wrists. Not sure we were ever at the races today and as poorly as we ended up playing, 10 men or no 10 men, this always looked like being a tricky game and not enough credit is being given to the O's imo. They did everything you need to do playing against 10 and it wasn't until BP came on plus they'd settled for the 1-0 that we started getting into the game. Fair play to 'em.
Monday's another day year so time to take the positives out of tonight (Solly, Wiggy and Pritch being about it!), forget about the rest and move on. January's a massive month for us so time to get behind the boys even more not started bottling it.
Easy to say in hindsight, but it seems like we all felt the same when the board went up for Waggy. Only explanation i can think is that he too was not fully fit. Either way, going a main light in midfield to play narrow crucified us for the rest of the first half and we should have been blasted out of sight. Fair play to orient, thought they really got at us superbly.
2nd half they seemed to make the mistake of slowing the tempo and trying to stretch us about more, being calmer in possession, and i think it was the wrong move for them as they were dominant as it stood playing on the front foot and could have killed the game. It seemed to encourage us more back into the game rather than us crafting it out ourselves.
Agree with the praise for Wiggins, less so for Solly. Thought he had a great 2nd half but had seriously come off 2nd best to Lee Cook in the first half, and that's when the damage was done. Also concerned with how poorly Morrison and Taylor coped with the movement of Lisbie and Mooney, and it was fortunate that neither of them had the natural striking ability to really punish us. Other managers will watch that though and will be attempting to pull them two all over the place for the 2nd half of the season
Bad day at the office. First time for me we have really looked 'pressured'. Last thing we need is short a short turnaround in time to come up against a side euphoric having come back today from a 3-goal deficit.
Goal keeper no concern hamer 1 match ban, Sullivan done ok considering the circumstance, I acknowledgments more concerned with how lazy and un interested bwp looked
Hamer gets a one-game, and Sullivan was right to blast Morro in the 1st half.
Relieved if you're right about Hamer. I was down the far end but I thought Morro was blasting Sullivan for not coming for it, and it wasn't the only time first half. But I was both other end and fairly low down.

Gott to disagree about BWP . He was asked to play in midfield with Kermogant up front and he ran his socks off trying to retrieve the ball from a rampant Orient team. I agree he does look a little lazy at times but not tonight.

I'm always right Prague, you're safe with me pal !

Not into slagging our own off but have to agree with that. Is he injured??
Beds bwp did not Chase anything down that I saw, nor the rest of us that were there , we were screaming for him to get involved , he didn't even run off the pitch when subbed
The whole of the first half was particularly flat. We sat back and let them have the initiative; I'm not sure if it was a ploy to try an conserve energy, but it certainly put the pressure on. The stats that popped up at about the half hour mark were very telling, Attempts: Orient 10 Charlton 0. Relieved to get to half time only 1 goal down. You know it's bad when the only thing you've had the cheer in 45 minutes is a yellow flag.
Generally better in the second half, particularly so after Pritchard came on. As others have said I thought Solly and Waggy were immense, unfortunately it was one of those games where you need 10 men to be immense not just 2.
Roll on Monday (I don't say that too often) and a chance to get on the winning trail again.

Should have left Waggy on, taken BWP off. We looked threatening when Pritchard came on. Jackson knackered.
Sorry Chris, you got tactics wrong tonight.
Ref didn't help though.
Matt Spring run the show which says a lot!
Well played Solly and Russel, thought they did best in bad circumstances.
Need to kick on in the next 5 games really. First bit of pressure with the Sheffield games coming up.

Watch out Brentford! COYR !!

I you know what I mean . None of the players on 4 yellows got booked and there is no way Hamer gets a 3 game suspention for hand ball !

Worst I have seen from him ever
