  • Bradley Wright-Phillips. On OS now.
  • Bradley Wright-Phillips.
  • Its Bradley Wright Phillips!
  • quality......well done to chrissy powell and all those who've made this happen, we know he can do a job in league 1
  • Must mean one or two going up top I would have thought. Abbott off?
  • I wonder which striker(s) SCP will be shifting?
  • Hmmm, that is exactly the sort of signing that we needed to make.

I am officially impressed with that.
  • so anyone have a clue how much he cost? my guess is in the 500k region
  • Bloody hell, didn't expect that.

BWP & Eccleston up front? Like it.

  • Excellent signing. As said at least one has to go now. Surely Abbott or Sodje.
  • happy with this. 13 goals and he hasnt played for a few games.

seems to be very much a confidence player so fans give him a chance and the players give him some service!!
  • This could be a very good signing if he stays fit! I wonder how much wonga we paid?
  • Looking forward to signing Bradley wright wright wright
  • 18 months and undisclosed fee.

One of the top scorers in the division as well. Sought by champ clubs as well.

With Eccles that's a huge boost to our firepower. Well chuffed with that.

This club is on the move and only in one direction. Up.
  • Did he not fail his medical at Reading?
  • Well happy. Let's hope he can keep up his good form. Now for a centre half and a creative CM player.

    Yea and this worries me!
  • When was the last time we had the top 2 leading scorers in the league?
  • Rumoured to be around £200k.

yes but the specialists have said he is fine otherwise he would not of signed
  • Very good signing

Benson and him to start, Eccleston to keep them on their toes
  • Top signing nice lad too
  • I heard Plymouth were only asking for 300k, I reckon we probably paid a bit less. I hope he stays fit!
  • Current top scorer in L1 - if this signing isn't a sign of the intent of our new board I don't know what is!
  • 18months....why that?

Injury potential, it's a strange amount of time.

That said very pleased we snagged him.
  • [cite]Posted By: ross[/cite]Did he not fail his medical at Reading?

yeah he did, lets hope we found no problems with him
  • Got to be pleased with that.

Surely one if not two strikers will leave now. Sodje and Abbott. Suspect Abbott will be off to Bristol Rovers on loan.

Now, if we can sort out a mobile centre half and right sided midfielder I'll be very happy.
  • Did he not fail a medical at Reading (knee) last week which is why that move fell through. Or have I got that wrong?

Suggests to me we didnt pay over the odds for him, if we had I cant imagine he'd only be on an 18 month contract. With Joe, Benno, Eccleston and BWP we now have a potent attack quartet!
CB or two next please Chrissy!
