I'm fuming we haven't won that, we played well, and they were pretty shit to be honest. I was expecting a lot more, and they were fairly desperate to hold on from the 15th minute onwards.
All the time wasting, pretend antics, getting sick of it now. The refs are weak as anything, and clueless. Think I've burst a few blood vessels watching that game and Blackpool, f right off.
Long old season, and if we play like that every week, we will get the 3 points more often than not.
In terms of players, I thought TT, Leaburn, Mitchell, Tyreece were very good, shootout to Anderson for his work ethic, doesn't stop to be fair to him.
Allan Campbell and Docherty played pants, no offense, but I just expect so much more.
On to the next one, Barnsley will be a much harder test, they won't attempt anti-football for the whole game like these lot did.11 -

I was on the train with Mark Bright before the game.
Was too scared to take a photo of his face, but that is a photo of his foot.
Probably on a scouting mission looking at Leaburn.

Obviously Aneke but TC and even Godden always look better when coming on.
Hopefully with Leaburn we might soon have a starting striker that offers a threat...

Actually thought it was an entertaining game. We had enough chances to score 4/5 on another day.and sadly we conceded a gift of a goal.
Jones playing instead.of.Gillesphy and we win that 2-0 as he stops their goal and scores from one of our many dead balls.
TT delivery absolutely on point today, we looked dangerous every time and credit to our set piece coach as our goal was a nicely worked routine.
Play like that every game and we should be there or thereabouts for top 6 imo. But then that is the minimum we should expect anyway.3 -

Is there anybody on here who thinks that Godden playing in a 2 or 3 up front is better than May? Because with May in the position that Godden plays in we would have scored more goals and be higher up the league.
What a terrible decision it was to let him go.

Why has Taylor not at least been on the bench? Baffling.
Well said @PragueAddick for daring to mention May v Godden. Latter still has A LOT to prove imo and today he didn’t show at all.
Injuries to Jones, DK, Chuks and now Ramsay very concerning and leaves you really wondering who ran over the black cat?Fantastic to have Leaburn back and already running amok. Just needs to fish his shooting boots out of the back of the cupboard.Plus ca change, plus c’est la meme chose.8 -

If NJ really thinks that was alright he’s madder than he looks
it was almost as shit as the Rovers game or Shrewsbury
the standard is execrable
defensively it is awful save for Ramsey!
attack is toothless
12th flatters that blundering unimaginative rabble of dimwits and clunkers
Taylor mostly looked adequate and Mannion had nothing to do everybody else needs lots of work4 -

My first visit to the valley this season. Really enjoyed the game, and thought we played very well. As with many posters I feel we should have won- however I thought their keeper was easily man of the match. Although he was a right tw@t with his time wasting antics he made at least 4 excellent saves and was the difference between the draw and an emphatic win for us.3

Nathan regularly mentions something in his post match interviews that makes me grimace. He did it again yesterday - oh the irony.
The crowd were excellent and bar one decision first-half and then just a little bit of cutting edge and a tiny bit more quality in the final third, that’s the reason we haven’t won it.

Can always count on the “If only we had May” comments to come up if we don’t win a game…😴9

Honestly, really good display across both halves and a gutting result despite coming back from a goal down. On another day we win 3-0 but for a couple of good saves, wayward finishing one really bad piece of defending and lack of awareness to turn the ball in it's 1-1 and a point each.
Surprised at Stockport, was expecting a bit more from them football wise given their start to the season but I guess they know how to execute a game plan, and they did once going a goal up and starting the time wasting tactics.
Justification second half as we pretty much dominated (when the ref wasn't handing them possession via "fouls") and grab a much deserved equaliser.
The box midfield, although not perfect, continued to suit how Jones wants us to play. Still some combination issues there and a lack of final pass quality.
TC and Godden - TC so much better out wide than through the middle. Godden , needs a proper strike partner. Either relegate TC to the bench or drop him behind the striker pairing to move across the attacking midfield spots.
A.Campbell Anderson and Docherty - all 3 much of a muchness offering slightly varying degrees of the same thing, yea their style is what Jones wants but dropping one for Berry/ TC in one of the attacking spots would make a big difference to us going forward.
Special mention to Terry Taylor - been one of the people wanting to see him involved and he didn't disappoint, his set piece delivery alone was worth the starting spot as it gave us an actual threat. Definitely a case for him to partner Coventry as the B2B type. Hope to see it.
Extra special mention to Gillesphey, sadly, a bit wank. Don't know what he offers really, defending meh, long balls out meh, switches off and has a total lack of awareness. Where's Potts???
In conclusion, not the end of the world but a truly gutting result.

2 points dropped as we had enough chances to win that against a side that in my opinion was the worst seen in a league home game so far this season
Taylor played well and fingers crossed will now get a run of games but not at the expense of Coventry.Ramsay a blow with his injury and will be a big loss but we have to get one with it
Leaburn looked lively when he came on and hopefully he’s not far off now from a start5 -

My son is reffing and his performances are getting noticed, getting big games relative to the league last season. I have said to him, you need to try and progress as you can see what we get at League One level. There isn't even a leap for him to that. Only a backward step!2

Watched on a stream that kept freezing and cutting out, so missed most of the 1st half and 10 mins or so of the 2nd.
However from what I did see, Stockport were lucky to get a point. If, and it's not a given, we concede it was a penalty, then that was their one and only chance. Their spoiling tactics, time wasting and general conning of a very poor (if not the poorest) ref was off the chart. Something needs to be done to stop this, people don't pay good money to watch a bunch of amateur actors ruining the game. The powers that be need to step in, or the refs need to grow some bollocks!
We know we should've won that game, but it's just not running for us at the moment.
I thought we played well, there were some lovely passages of play and on another day we walk away having scored 3.
T. Taylor was excellent his dead ball delivery was mainly superb, he needs to start alongside Coventry. Leaburn will be a major contributer as soon as his match fit, and I'd play him alongside Godden with T. Campbell out wide.
Those still banging on about a certain A. May, what's the point? He's gone, decision was made, do I agree with it, no, but it's happened, no point in keep bringing it up...time to move on.
I really wish I was well enough to come to The Valley next Saturday, but sadly my own personal battle goes on, I only hope the 'stream' is better next week.
35 games left can we make the play-offs, yes I believe we can, with a fully fit Leaburn, Taylor in the middle, and the rub of the green.
Roll on Tuesday!

Sounds encouraging, Mrs away on a mates 40th, kids on some wanky school trip , boffin at Brum uni, I chose the pub instead of watching us , full of West Ham and spurs cnuts but only saw last ten of that and the pub cleared out , thankfully
A quick(for me) 8 pints and I was absolutely smashed, uber via chippy on way home at 6.20pm (steak and kidney pie 🥧 looking at the filthy mess I left)
woke up fully clothed on bed at 2am
feel like utter shit
at least it sounds like we played well , we’ve played shit and won but to me it feels like the worm is turning and we’re heading in the right direction , will it be enough for promotion I doubt it but I believe there’s a chance .
I’ll sober up in a bit and revert to type , we’re shit and going nowhere .21
