    Fortress Valley?
A valley is never a good position for a fortress.
The Greeks almost made you wrong at Thermopylae. Let’s hope Wrexham don’t get shown the back way to our goal - through the cubicle with the broken lock in the East stand loo?
    Still not fixed.
Like the turnstiles at the Sam Bartram entrance.

I was on the train with Mark Bright before the game.

Was too scared to take a photo of his face, but that is a photo of his foot.

Doesn’t h me work for the Nigels?
Probably on a scouting mission looking at Leaburn.
Apparently the Stockport LB was on loan from Crystal palace and he was scouting for them.

Thought it was a decent enough team performance today, but need to be getting all 3 from these games.
If only we had a decent goalscorer.
When Birmingham get promoted & we end finishing 12th someone might like to ask Nathan if perhaps we should have hung onto last years top goalscorer.
Think that was Bob's point tbh

I can’t knock the effort today, but why do all our strikers look good only when they come off the bench, we need to start on the front foot and get the lead because we normally see out games when we do this.
Agreed. Would love to see what the Gassman could offer coming off the bench.
Obviously Aneke but TC and even Godden always look better when coming on.
Hopefully with Leaburn we might soon have a starting striker that offers a threat...
Instructions from NJ maybe ? Said it many times, (even before we signed him) he is a very poor signing.

  • Actually thought it was an entertaining game. We had enough chances to score 4/5 on another day.and sadly we conceded a gift of a goal.
Jones playing instead.of.Gillesphy and we win that 2-0 as he stops their goal and scores from one of our many dead balls.
TT delivery absolutely on point today, we looked dangerous every time and credit to our set piece coach as our goal was a nicely worked routine.
Play like that every game and we should be there or thereabouts for top 6 imo.  But then that is the minimum we should expect anyway.

We did used to have one.
Yes but it upsets people if you mention his name. Anyway the goals will be flying in from all over the pitch not just from the Golden boot winner of 23/24 or at least that's what the rose tinted glasses brigade will have us believe. Anyway that's enough of that once he's recovered from injury we'll have Gas back up front  :#
We’ll have Leaburn. We look way better with Leaburn.
Leaburn. So pleased he’s still got it. The goals will come.

  • If NJ really thinks that was alright he’s madder than he looks
it was almost as shit as the Rovers game or Shrewsbury
    the standard is execrable
defensively it is awful save for Ramsey!
    attack is toothless
12th flatters that blundering unimaginative rabble of dimwits and clunkers

Taylor mostly looked adequate and Mannion had nothing to do everybody else needs lots of work

Problem is Taylor will be dropped for golden boy Coventry & our set plays will end up in row Z as per.

Who hasn't signed a new contract & will be off in January.
  • My first visit to the valley this season. Really enjoyed the game, and thought we played very well. As with many posters I feel we should have won- however I thought their keeper was easily man of the match. Although he was a right tw@t with his time wasting antics he made at least 4 excellent saves and was the difference between the draw and an emphatic win for us.
  • Nathan regularly mentions something in his post match interviews that makes me grimace.  He did it again yesterday - oh the irony.  :/

The crowd were excellent and bar one decision first-half and then just a little bit of cutting edge and a tiny bit more quality in the final third, that’s the reason we haven’t won it.

  • Why has Taylor not at least been on the bench? Baffling.

He’s never played for Luton and the manager is controversial is the best I can offer.
  • My son is reffing and his performances are getting noticed, getting big games relative to the league last season. I have said to him, you need to try and progress as you can see what we get at League One level. There isn't even a leap for him to that. Only a backward step!
