    Teams around us signing strikers.
And none of them are as good as Alfie May or Freddie Ladapo
I know it's early days, but Ladapo has looked useless. How long is it gonna take him to get up to speed?
The next two weeks are crucial...

None of them signing as shit a goalkeeper or defenders as we have either

They also have more points and clean sheets than us in.the last 12 games!

We really shouldn't laud it over anybody right now.

Surely there are other irons in the fire, we need a number 10
We have been linked with some Scottish lad called Callaway, last I heard

Good at getting out of some rough spots
Nice to have some irons in the fire 😉
    And some wedges.
You could have those with your number 10 at the Chinese 😉
    I prefer the 69 tbh.

We've got Chuks returning soon, that will be like a new signing, nothing to worry about

Another one leaving Reading is Taylan Harris. Won't affect their first team much as only 18 and mainly plays in their U21s.  Gone to Luton.

Something a little unedifying with Luton nailing the Reading coffin buying the youth up given their own recent history but it's dog eat dog I guess.

Will Reading be able to hang on to Knibbs, Smith, Azeez (linked with Plymouth) and Wing (linked with Pompey).

  • Judging by the initial comments and stats we might have done a good bit of business there. Will it be enough though

It can't be, 300,000 was the fee and that was from a source beyond reproach.

  • Assume Richard will be along in a bit to tell us that’s it for us

If Pompey get Wing & Moxon then that’s a significant midfield upgrade for them.

Lots of good signings at the top of L1 with Oxford getting Owen Dale & Bolton getting Aaron Collins.

Ladapo has had 2 ‘swing and a miss’  when he has had an open goal ….. hope he improves….

Not his fault, apparently it's down to the team being low on confidence. I blame Kirk & Fraser

By you maybe. Harrogate and Charlton agreed on £100,000.

Ladapo is a seasoned professional. He is on good money. He has been on the fringe of the Ipswich team so should be up to pace. Of course it doesn't help coming into a team low on confidence, but he should be a cut above at this level. He has looked very poor, so in my opinion Ronnie is wrong(un) 😊

He signed on the Friday, played on the Saturday. Sunday day off, Monday, light training for a match on Tuesday and then the manager got sacked. Wednesday off, Thursday training, Friday light training, match Saturday.

By the time he walked off the pitch at Blackpool, he had as many training sessions as he had games. Plus the manager sacking, it's hardly a surprise that he has had a slow start
