So those who are going to make silly comparisons between Roland’s 6 years of transfers and TS’s 11 months, at least do it properly rather than half the story that you feel suits your narrative.Roland was an absolute shambles.
You could argue its heading in the same direction based on that, but, really it's a silly argument.
Not only has Roland had far more windows to operate in there wasn't the COVID factor, and even if you disregard that, without knowing what the undisclosed fees are, you just can't compare.
If anything it just shows typical transfer activity. I'm sure if you posted any other club to a similar stature to ours it'll read the same. Players leaving on frees, decent talent sold and a whole bunch of undisclosed.

It's curious that under ESI we never sold anyone, despite being broke all summer.
Under Thomas we brought in a few decent fees, for Phillips, Bonne, Doughty plus the Karlan sell on fee which would have helped to offset the losses3 -

The talent we have is within the U18s from last season, the likes of Deji, Henry, Beadle etc, rather than further up the age groupcs1986 said:

If our strategy really is to bide our time & wait for player demands to reduce as they get more desperate to sign a deal as the transfer deadline draws closer, it's a dangerous strategy.
We could be very busy on transfer deadline week. Alternatively, it could all go tits up & we could be left desperately short of numbers.

Lockyer is not what we need. Too short for a centre back, positionally weak (and not quick enough to make up for it) and his passing was woeful.If a defender makes as many last ditch tackles as he did you have to question his positioning in the first place4
