Need 7 in my opinion. We're miles short of a balanced deep squad, and we only have 4 players injured - there won't be many times this season we don't have at least 4 players unavailable through injury or suspension. The fact there were, effectively, no subs today (Claydon so late as to barely count) shows you the faith Adkins has in those youngsters, whatever positive spin he might try to put on it publicly.
A striker
2 Wingers
A creative midfielder
A left back
A right centre back
A reserve goalkeeper
Doubt we'll get that many in 3 weeks.

I'm not sure if he is good enough for 90 minutes, 46 games of a season, but I don't think we should be making out that he is a poor player either.8 -

Think Morgan has the ability to play attacking midfield but to play in the hole you need to be a goal threat.2

Wanna put some money on that prediction? We finished 4th in the division in goals (70) scored last season and I see no way we come close to that in 2021-22. How is a £20, payable via Venmo or PayPal? Very happy to lose that money if you are proven correct. 1 -
Statistically Gilbey is a goalthreat when he has been played in a more advanced position. Whether he is also good enough for promotion is another question.2

Second I expected better as he got a touch.
His creative passing is what has him as our CAM at the moment and he showed he can spray good passes around as he grew into the game.
He made intelligent runs into the box too, just needs that bit of composure on the strike, which he seems to have lost in favour of power.3 -
