Three points and a clean sheet is how our visit to Doncaster will go in the record books.
After going ahead on 11 mins, the rest of the entire match was end to end and, at times, frantic.
My MOM was Ryan Inniss, who anchored the defense in his first return since a long injury layoff. But also right up there challenging for the honours were Maarten and JFC among others.
Looks like we’re back in the playoff places too.
Over to you.

Seeing Purrington + being on Sky felt like a Play off game!
Tuesday being postponed only means we have more time to train and work out the best team, as MA obviously did today.5 -
I enjoyed that.Excellent work rate, actually looked like a team playing for each other and their manager.
JFC excellent second half but Innis was faultless.49 -
Excellent result, ok performance, terrible opposition.4

Wemberlee, Wemberlee....1

A battling away performance & 3 points.
The main thing I took from today is that Ryan Inniss makes such a huge difference to us defensively22 -
Great win. 6 pointer. Very happy to take points off of Doncaster.5

We all ready have a better shape than under Bowyer.
A nervous last 10 minutes but it's looking more promising19 -
Inniss being back is like dragging in someone’s dad to help out. Monster40

Congratulations Adkins on your first win as Charlton manager. Defence looked solid for the most part today. Onwards and upwards!6

Huge result away at the team who are second in the form table at home. Made them look pretty toothless.
Thought we could've had more but for the decision making.
Saw a lot of people on the match thread saying it's not pretty, it's league one, when is it ever! A great result and a lot to build on.17 -

Much stronger defensively, mainly thanks to Ryan Inniss. Wouldn’t have believed he would look so strong, fit and sharp after so long out. I was surprised to see Ian Maatsen start on the right but he more than justified that decision. You could really see that Adders has been working hard on the training ground.
Good all round team performance. Congrats to Adders on his first win as Charlton boss and I hope its the first of very many.

Not a game for the ages but I saw it and will cherish it ... as I won’t see another until the playoff semi final!Good night nurse - that felt wonderful11

It feels like things are coming together, possibly a bit late but nonetheless. That team looked as though they actually gave a damn.4

A great all round team effort, really in hindsight, they presented no danger to our goal,I will pick out one man,Darren Pratley ,I lost count of the interceptions and the times he stopped their attacks before they got anywhere near our goal, sure he has his bad moments but this man is a credit to his trade.16

Big win that. Especially with Sunderland up next and not playing Monday3
-
Defensive solidity reminded me of the 2-0 win over Pompey earlier in the season - just kept them at arms length the whole game. Very good result2
-
We looked comfortable.
Thought some of the forward passing was still a little lazy but the way we’re playing looked very different to what I’ve been used to this season.
Inniss is a fantastic centre back and will be massive if he stays fit for this last set of games.1 -
Good win. Innis is a monster.1

A very professional second half performance and we always carried a threat up top.
JFC was outstanding in the second period and what a super performance from Ryan Inniss after 5 months out. Well done the big man !8 -
Clean sheet.
Three points
Lots of effort.
Utter rubbish in terms of quality of football.
Overall slightly worse than usual as we didn't even look dangerous up front. Very fortunate to score once.
Innis looks assured
Bogle really is rubbish.0 -

Adkins is so positive its infectious, you can see why certain players have lifted16

Wasn’t blown with performance but a great result. Very similar to Wigan, Rochdale and Bristol Rovers away.
JFC getting the plaudits but Inniss a clear MOM for me.That 11 and formation won’t take us into the play offs though .
Just nice to go into the weekend with a win though19 -
Three things we learned:
We were right to let Bogle go.Maatsen may be better up front. And most importantly - the big man is back in defence, more clean sheets to come I reckon.Well done Nads and the lads.12 -
Reminded me a lot of the Semi-Final from two years ago up there
Doncaster had a lot of the ball for the majority of the game yet didnt do enough with it, we were a constant threat on the break and got a deserved goal that was extremely well taken for someone who hasnt scored in their Senior career yet.
Second Half was again like that sunny day in May where Doncaster dictated proceedings but like that Taylor miss (that would have made it 3-0), it was Stockley who was unfortunate not to see it made 2-0, although was the right call and like it was said on the Match Thread, was a carbon copy of our disallowed goal @ Blackpool
Then it went into the last 10-15mins, things got nervy and thankfully on this occasion; Doncaster didnt grab a consolation.
Would it have been deserved had they done, I honestly dont think so, think the back five (Amos included) did a good enough job, remained organised throughout and managed the game extremely well - Inniss bringing the ball out at times was so helpful.0 -
Even Adkins has said Gilbey had a good game. As I said on the match thread, he is marked now and no matter what he does he will always be "shit" to some people. Does my head in..33
-
Fans wont like Adkins view on Gilbey, thought he was phenomenal12
-
Efficient enough, more solid, Innis the Beast he was before injured and a well ground out 3 points. Won’t be getting carried away until we have a run of wins under our belt. Delighted for us all, sun is shining, birds are singing, lovely to see us with a clean sheet and winning!0
-
Well done Nadkins praising Gilbey who I thought had a good game. 👍8
-
Yessssssssss!Huge win that’s going to make those around us in the table notice and worry about us again.Clean sheet. A win on tv. First goal for Maatsen. And still 3.5 days until work again.4

Makes you wonder where we'd be placed in the table if Inniss hadn't been injured for so long?Gravesend_Addick said:A battling away performance & 3 points.
