Neither do I need, unlike you, to gain or retain credability. It's just an internet forum, it doesn't matter and I don't need the vindication.
But since you asked on 22 December and for months before you denied there was any takeover talks and that no due diligence had taken place or was happening.
On 29 December, four working days later, the club announced that the club was in the process of being sold. You weren't mentioning your sold in two years mantra then either.
You then asked how long due diligence took as if it had been done over Xmas by two different parties.
Anyway, I'm sure 98% of lifers just want the takeover to happen asap and care very little about petty squabbles or point scoring.

Have to laugh at people crediting Doucher and NLA with bringing information here - IIRC neither have ever brought anything to the table, just denied what other people were saying. The simple truth of the matter is that NLA's info and mine come from the sellers side - that side is in control although I would say my info comes from the inner sanctum and hence why I have always said it will happen this summer - I'm not responsible for the false dawns, just tried to pass on what I know - I've also passed on lots of other info to this message board which has also proven to be correct - we all want rd gone and he's going but if this last few years have proved anything, it's that the perceived oracles on here don't always get it right but others sometimes do8

That’s a fair point, although actually some of the other leaks have come from people ultimately working for Duchatelet (other than club employees) so the distinction isn’t totally clear cut. The problem is that what both you and NLA have said has been by contradicted Murray, who is the seller’s official spokesperson. As one of the more balanced posters on this forum I would like to thank NLA and Doucher for bringing some much needed credibility to this meandering thread whilst older posters have lost their heads over the last months.

Appreciate you know nothing about the fanzine market, but tweeting things between issues (or putting stuff online here or at www.votvonline.com) doesn’t sell extra copies of issues that don’t contain the relevant information.nth london addick said:

If anything it’s counter-productive, but other than revealing Muir on the front cover last August - a scoop that now looks likely to be the biggest of the whole saga, although it met a muted response at the time - I’ve generally not kept significant stuff back for publication. Timelines don’t suit it and I was more interested in sharing what I’d heard.
If I only wanted to maximise fanzine sales I would never disclose or comment on anything online, but the world isn’t that simple for most people.26 -
