I wouldn't give Duchatelet my last fiver let alone my last £45M!kentaddick said:If they’re buying for £45 million they better have some money to spend and not spunked it up the wall giving it to duchatelet.

£45M seems a bit top heavy, but not ridiculously so. These figures are guesstimates but -
RD purchased for £18M
+ F/H increase £11M
Valley improvements £2M
SL improvements £5M
Bank loan repaid £2M
Total £38M1 -
What's the +F/H increase? Surely Floyd and Harvey weren't paid off to that extent? I know Meire did some bad deals, but really...?15

The Valley and Sparrows Lane were revalued in the last a/cs with an £11M increase according to Airman.Weegie Addick said:What's the +F/H increase? Surely Floyd and Harvey weren't paid off to that extent? I know Meire did some bad deals, but really...?
I recall it to be something like that, so assume he's correct.3 -
I think Weegie's Scottish sense of humour got you there CECovered End said:

May have asked for some sort of premium in place of all the sell in clauses out thereCovered End said:£45M seems a bit top heavy, but not ridiculously so. These figures are guesstimates but -

That 45m might include former director loans being written off unlike previous purchase price, still too much if this one does, nevertheless0

Is the Aussie Muir Andrew Muir? (If it's the one who pops up on Google then he seems pretty decent, lots of stuff about philanthropy and community work)
Also just found out we have a Brazilian Twitter fan https://mobile.twitter.com/BrasilCharlton

PWR - Is my memory playing tricks or was Johnny R a sub because he had been injured leading up to the final & yes you might be right with the hairline fracture. Loved the bloke, must of been a right pain to play against & to referee but what a player to have in your team, Charlton to the core. Mind you what a team full stop !!!!! :-)robroy said:
Did Robbo not take his pen with a broken leg? They found out after the game that he had a hair line fracture. Rock hard Johnny!Todds_right_hook said:
John Robinson. I can’t remember it clearly now but remember it being weak and easy for the keeper....if the keeper went the right waySoundAsa£ said:I’m as tense as when Shaun Newton took his Wembley penalty......so you all know just how I’m feeling.
I can’t even bare watching the replays as I’m still sure he’s going to miss!

You slightly disagreed with a comment I made on here once back in 2007 and I've held a grudge ever since and swore I'd get even. Therefore since your boycott I have been buying extra charlton shirts withoohaahmortimer said:When can I buy Charlton shirts for the kids and be sure I’m not greasing the palm of Roland ?
"Ooh Ah
4
Roly 100%"
printed on the back.
They go straight in the bin after I've paid but I'm satisfied because I've squared Roly up with your boycott deficit.
I even got Katrien to sign a few and praised her for our excellent away following numbers.

Been a shitty twelve hour day in the big house, stress, aggression and despair aplenty so I stopped off on the way home for a bottle of Smirnoff. Settled down, opened CL, expecting this thread to have maybe 25 new Pot Noodle and horses wisecracks.......369 new posts! Shit got real. So instead of numbing my senses after a bastard day I’m five shots into a very positive place. Better yet I’m off tomorrow so I can keep up to speed with developments. And I’m off to Donnie on Saturday.
Life seems a little bit brighter than it did an hour ago.40 -
Hope you are right, re the hurdles. £45m scares the shite out of me otherwise.supaclive said:Aussie Muir. £45m. Lots of hurdles like promotions etc to reach that value. Allegedly.

I noticed AFKABartram still keeps coming on this thread cos it’s real and is happening unlike his little ditty summary thread. Pleased to see you back AFKA Bartram and hopefully get back to
German horses, humous and dandelion coleslawour celebrations of getting rid of that dictatorship and rebreathing the life back into our club. Hurrah5 -
