It's not as black and white as some make out. Those of you who expect to have years to see them out can afford to say you'll not give another penny until they go, as is your right. I, however, cannot be sure I have years left to wait out their departure. I am undecided as yet, but if I decide I want to see the team I've supported for 46 years while I still can, then I will. Will not be deterred by being virtually called a traitor if I do.

If you don't like this regime, why not do what a lot of people are considering, and delay your purchase till just before the season starts. I cannot see any reason for giving them money now unless you agree with what's happening at the club.

Me - I'm out full-stop unless there is a huge sea-change or he is actively selling.

Yes, I am delaying. Just can't say that I won't renew eventually though.

Would like to say well done to all the people who organised our protests.
had a season ticket since our return to the valley I have missed a lot
    of games,and will not renew.
Would it not be a good idea to encourage all our supporters to go to the last
home game cheer the team and sing goodbye valley goodbye and
let the morons who run our club how it should be like on a home game.
I really will miss my Sat treat but not as it is now.

if you don't attend though, people will be asking this question...."where's welly"?

Before that statement from RD was posted I could understand how some people would still feel that renewing their ST was an act of supporting the team, not the regime.

    But not anymore.

If you renew, in my eyes you agree that RD's statement was an acceptable way to address fans. Read that and then hand over your wedge to the man who calls you weird or compares you to a restaurant goer.

Anyone that renews before July is a scab in my eyes. No need for it at all.

ps I'm ahead of my time, stopped renewing this season after 18 years on the spin.

In fairness (and it pains me to do this @Fiiish) it's an edited version of what Meire said in Dublin.

But still a completely incompetent statement.

I know that Norn but to plaster it on the official website days after a massive protest is a completely different level of disrespect towards fans.

Also, you don't need to @ me if you're quoting me

Just a bit dim - possibly getting over the shock of reading such an inept statement.

Clueless (that is me and Roly).

The club are too busy today dealing with the surge of season-ticket applications resulting from last night's stirring statement.

Live on Sky Sports next season, as we won't be playing them.

If yesterday's statement was written by RD, it proves he is mad and we have to do what we can to get him out. I don't want to not renew, but I have absolutely no choice.

So there was a ballot on collective action was there? I missed that one.

Just had this e-mail in response to my request for an ST application form, sent to the new e-mail address.

    Dear Mr

Thank you for your email. Season ticket brochures have been posted all season ticket holders and should arrive by early next week.

    Regards

    Mandy Anderson-Myers

Seems all season ticket holders will be receiving a brochure unlike last year.

Did you start singing along to Barry Manilow?

    I remember all my life
Raining down as cold as ice
    A shadow of a man
    A face through a window
    Crying in the night
    The night goes into

    Morning, just another day
    Happy people pass my way
    Looking in their eyes
    I see a memory
    I never realized
How happy you made me, oh Mandy

Well you came and you gave without taking
But I sent you away, oh Mandy
Will you kissed me and stopped me from shaking
And I need you today, oh Mandy

I'm standing on the edge of time
Walked away when love was mine
Caught up in a world of uphill climbing
The tears are in my eyes
And nothing is rhyming, oh Mandy

Well you came and you gave without taking
But I sent you away, oh Mandy
Will you kissed me and stopped me from shaking
And I need you today, oh Mandy

    Yesterday's a dream
    Now I face the morning
    Crying on the breeze
The pain is calling, oh Mandy

Well you came and you gave without taking
But I sent you away, oh Mandy
Will you kissed me and stopped me from shaking
And I need you today, oh Mandy

Well you came and you gave without taking

Will you kissed me and stopped me from shaking

That will be a fascinating exercise in making a silk purse out of a sow's ear if ever there was one.

They could save postage & hand the brochures out at the next home game.

Even better, sellotape them to the back of each seat. What could possibly go wrong?

    I can do that.

It won't take long to hand out 50.

They might fall off or get thrown on the pitch ? :smirk: Could always use gaffa tape, it's flavour of the month and comes highly recommended.

Is there going to be the usual mail out of renewal forms this year or is it online only? I've not had anything yet but after last year's fiasco I wouldn't be surprised if some geezer in Ghent gets my form. I'm not renewing but I was looking forward to filling the form in!

A post on twitter says 435 renewals so far, not exactly flying out the door, especially as I suspect a lot are lower north.

When you receive them put on letter return to sender could just imagine thousands of them landing back at the Valley. What a protest and statement that would be.

Might well be as Lower north is the cheaper option, 435, what would you expect it to be at ths stage, just curious, Steve Brown on radio london today reckons the actual take up could be a slow as 2,000 for next season.

You have to factor in as well it's highly unlikely anybody has been paid there monthly salary yet either for those who intend to pay it all up front rather than take out finance. Some will get paid next week but most won't get paid until the end of the month so the numbers probably don't mean much until at least then.
