Best part of today was when we all sang against the board!
With our turnover of managers, how does our interim manager ( and worst one yet ) seem to be unsackable?
I sing for the team and support them every home game, but it's starting to get very bizarre.
How is one of the best left backs in the league on the bench in a team with the worst left back in the league on the pitch?

Truly appalling.
The only glint of hope is that there are some truly awful teams in the league so we can get out of this hole. BUT that idiot of a interim manager has to go this evening and a proper manager signing proper players NOW for us to achieve that.
If he isn't gone than we have no hope at all. He has no idea what he is doing. I just cannot work out his formation, tactics and what the players are meant to be doing.

Thankfully missed today. I do look at that team and think it's a nailed on relegation side, KF or not. Went to the crap div 1 seasons last time but no way am I dragging my boy across London next year unless these clowns start getting it.0

Took my son to his first ever game today and bless him it took him half an hour to get bored. We are on the way home now and he said maybe next time I go charlton would of practiced and might be a little better. He is 4 and can see the issues!29

Awful. On the first half, Wolves were worse than both Leeds and Bolton. But they have a manager who could tell them what to do and they attacked more in the second half and inevitably scored. They must be crap though, only beat us 2-0.
Fraeye will be kept on till the end of the season. I don't hate the bloke, but he is woefully out of his depth.
I think we are mentally down already. Team don't look like a team. Solly, JJ and Hendo had some fight, Lookman had some energy and Ba was a big improvement on when I've seen him last. Not sure it's the players so much (I mean most of them are kids anyway) but they are playing in a toxic set up. This is not going to end well. And RD is so stubborn he'll stick with KM/KF so we'll be worrying about how we'll fare in L2 this time next season.

The club had months to recruit via the loan market to cover the injuries bit didn't
The club had all summer to build a decent sized squad but didn't
We have been badly hit by injuries but that happens.
The problem is that Roland doesn't like paying for players who aren't playing as he doesn't realise that you need a squad to cover injuries.27 -

On the plus side, protest support is increasing. I sit at the back of the East Stand. Eight people were in my row, eight in front and seven behind. Five of the 23 wore black and white scarves (including myself); all but five of the 23 stood up during the protest song.

On the way into the ground, it was busier than usual and some queues to get in. It was good to see even a queue for the Voice of the Valley and the Peter Varney revelations. It was good to see so many kids at the ground. It shows that there is potential there. It is a shame the performance was poor. The club should do kids for a quid every single game, though many of the poor little blighters may put up serious resistance after too much of that showing.
The first half was fairly even with little of note happening. There was an excellent tackle by Solly, showing how a 50/50 ball should be completed for, Wolves had the best chance but their striker was put off enough by Lennon and the ball ended up in Henderson's arms. Lookman didn't get far against the Wolves defence but was trying to make things happen. He went off injured, and I wonder if that is the last Charlton supporters see of the player. Makienok came on and managed to somehow floor the referee, and they had to go off for the second half.
At the break, Makienok was doing the half time drills, why wasn't he listening to the half time team talk ? I found that a bit odd. The pitch is not looking in great shape.
In the second half, with Wolves attacking the goal with their supporters behind, upped the pace and scored an easy goal. Apart from 2 Charlton players falling over themselves when there a was reasonable sight on goal, Charlton did not threaten. I stood up with stand up if you want them out / 2%, you having a laugh chant, and was pleased to see a lot more people standing than last time, great to see many more black and white scarfs. That was good as it got.
The team ran about, but with the quality on the pitch, Charlton were never going to get back in. Wolves got the second and the game could have stopped there. Ceballos came on but didn't notice him as I was too depressed by then.
The team that was out there was a League One standard and would struggle to make top 10 league one at that.3 -

Poor today was Aherne- Grant/ Makinok/ Vaz te who didn't create a chance for either themselves or others. Someone has to show these guys about "second phase" ball as the players with a few exceptions just wait and don't anticipate
First of all Fox put more than a decent shift in today and was effective in several areas of the pitch and yes made a couple of errors but in the percentage of ball play he had these were insignificant, same goes for Lennon and Barr - who improved through the game, Solly was outstanding today along with Jacko.
I am fucking fed up to the back teeth with the same shower of ....fans on here constantly deriding their own home grown youth when it is clear the problem lies with more than a few of the imported players who are just not used to the pace and physicality of this league nor playing 40 plus games in a season as most of them come from leagues where they play maybe 20 games a season. This is becoming more evident by the number who are disappearing fast with injuries or strains or quite simply just not turning up anymore!! Someone please tell me what Vaz Te brought to the game today because I for one missed it completely ?
I totally get the unrest with the owners of the club and apparent lack of investment in the squad, but FFS don't turn on your home grown players, they can only be as good as the players around them and if no one is willing to anticipate a cross or through ball ....

Pathetic, embarrassing, boring, gutless, clueless.
Not one sniff of goal. We are going down unless things change drastically and we all know that isn't going to happen.
Trying not to let Charlton ruin my day lately but they still seem to.
Nobody really deserves to be singled out because we all know the problem is much much more then the 11 players on the pitch but they were all not up to it.
We are destined for relegation this season.
One and only highlight was the 'stand Up if you want them out' chant. We want our Charlton back.2 -
Depressing. My ST and the fact t that I like the guys I sit with keeps me going. There is also a very sad part of me that is going along for the soap opera element i.e. Even though we are a hard watch at the moment and the fact that I despise the Belgian experiment, there is something compelling about watching it all play out. I'm perversely enjoying our plight to a degree.
But today was the day I turned. I saw the team and realised the futility of it all. I watched an utterly shite wolves team beat us reasonably easily. I sat in traffic (mercifully lighter than usual) getting home and realised that, for the first time, I'm wasting my time and would rather be doing something else.
Roland, Katrien, Carol. Just fuck off and let me have my Charlton back. That is all.14 -

Great communal protest during the second half (slightly spoiled by the Wolves' fans who decided to start chanting).
Good performances were: Fox, Solly, Sarr, Ba. Mak did alright when he got on.
