At the end, 60 year old men are waiting outside to pick fights.
They are proud to say nobody likes them.
Fellow Charlton fans, we are better than this. Our vocal support is amazing, we had already won the day by silencing the neanderthals, but we made ourselves look cheap by stooping to their sub-human level.
And can't believe that SLL, who practically lives on here didn't realise that the "midget" was Chris Solly. Otherwise a surprisingly level headed summation from the spanner. He almost seems decent compared to Bunny. Almost

He didn't have his best game yesterday, in truth.
Teams tried to target him aerially last year and surprisingly he felt with them all very well. He's certainly not the weak link in the side.0 -

I would bet valiant Phil there are more black fans at millwall than charlton still I know of three that went yesterday , they have a large Turkish support as well0

Agree with this. I popped down there in the first half, most of the banter was good natured with them giving it back as well, I'm guessing that didn't continue then.

Regardless, of course there are some at Charlton as at every club. The big big crucial difference is that racist songs get shouted down and the club deal with the singers at Charlton. That's why we don't hear the Lisbie song any more. It's not acceptable at Charlton and a good thing too.
At Millwall it is tolerated as we can see from the on-going abuse of black subs. They know it happens, they do next to nothing other than makes excuses ("we had a Black CEO once") or blame the victims

Fuming that I couldn't make the game in the end and had to pass on my ticket, but proud of the boys not folding and getting the point, proud of my fellow fans who stood up and f*cked off the Pink Polo Brigade, mate said it was the best away trip he's been on in terms of letting people know that we are Charlton and we are no pushovers on or off the field. Long may it continue, I'd rather have a rep for being noisy and boisterous than being happy clappy anoraks!
Just cut out the muggy throwing things and breaking stuff, I know it's only 2-3 people out of the 3,600, but the press won't focus on that unfortunately.0 -

All this macho posturing of some fans really does my head in it is so 70s/80s.I am all for local rivalries but smoke bombs,flares offering people out, is that really what Football is all about?I don't like Millwall,never have done,but it is about time some 40 and 50 year olds grew up from both Millwall and Charlton and other clubs.I didn't go yesterday as I had a ticket for the England NewZealand game.A fantastic atmosphere at that game,great stadium,all supporters sitting together.Proper physical contest on the pitch,a game played by real men.Had a drink afterwards with some NewZealanders and was a great day with England winning.0
