Buy two or three top notch players for reasonable fees now?
Save it for the January window?
Use it to reduce the clubs £8m loses?
I like the second option as think we’re still lacking quality in a number of spots. Don’t see it happening though and more expect the final option to happen…if the money comes.

Dobson was an average league one player made out by a number of fans as a premiership player sorry he was miles away from even championship player .. how many reckless tackles on the edge of our box did he make , how many passes went a stray .again in dangerous positions .. yes he had his positives but fact that no one was rushing to sign him says how “ football “ saw him …. Coventry completely diff player far more skilful and better passer of the ball , he don’t rush in or makes last ditch tackles because he reads a game better and so intercepts long before he needs to tackle or lunge in …..
Agree. I put Dobson in the same bracket as Kishishev....nowhere near as good a footballer as Charlton fans believe, but adored because they ran around like lunatics chasing after their own lack of abilities, but interpreted as caring and hardworking
What?! Kishishev was a great footballer.
He wasn't. He was a headless chicken, a hard worker and a nice bloke. Doesn't make him a great footballer.
He was very effective in the defensive midfield, man to man marking, harass and force mistake role...but that was down to his own chaos.
As disappointing a remark on a Charlton player as I've ever read. Reminds me of the bloke I once heard in the covered end shout out "don't give it to him He's useless". Player receiving the pass was Chris Powell. Some people just get it wrong.

I just don’t know why people can’t accept and also seemingly get annoyed that the transfer rumours thread on a football forum, during the summer break, is going to be the most actively used thread.
Even if the mods set up a ‘random football summer discussion’ thread, the transfer rumours one would still be the most used as poster would naturally gravitate towards it anyway.
If it’s an issue for you, either agree with someone to start up your own bite sized rumour thread, or alternatively just wait until any actual signing is going to be announced by the club and come and discuss it on here afterwards.
Otherwise it’s hardly affecting your life to spend 5 minutes scrolling through new comments every day.
