Charlton headed to Wycombe looking to see out a disappointing season with some kind of a result to extend their extended unbeaten run of fourteen. Instead, the season went out with a whimper and a one nil loss. Nothing much happened, beyond frustration and disappointment all round, which I suppose reflects the season. Charlton had opportunities, particularly in the second half, where loanee Fiorini hit the crossbar with a cracking free kick, and substitute Chuks Aneke caused a bit of havoc. But Charlton were unable to score.
We look forward now. Changes to the pitch. Changes to the squad. There are reasons to be optimistic.

Same ol Charlton.
Is it too late to pay 55 notes to cover the cost of your dinner tomorrow?
Unfortunately its been far too ugly on the pitch, with today a montage to how horrible this season has been, crap referees, pointless bookings, and a pointless performance from far too many individuals.
No one wanted to be out there today
Hopefully we'll see a huge overhaul amongst the squad, we cant start playing for points after 75mins every game, and need a lot more clean sheets.
Have a great summer!!
Defensively we are miles and miles off it. This has to change in the summer or we'll be back here again.
Hope that lineup is Jones making final decisions on some individuals ala Thomas
Positives: in five years time when Nathan Jones is leading us into Europe and we’ve picked up a load of fair weather fans, we can all say we were here for the 23/24 season.
losing faith in the manager already, should have at least tried to play an attacking game in a nothing match.
Can't defend
Can't keep a clean sheet
No creativity in midfield
Goal-shy
Shit ref
A huge shame.
NJ has a huge job on his hands during this coming transfer window.
Thanks to CATV for the work this season, hopefully they'll be back in August, but I somehow doubt it!
We finish with a negative goal difference.
Anything than a wholesale purge of players & staff (recruitment team) will see us back in this position yet again next season. Last few seasons we have been getting worse & worse and our finishing position getting lower & lower. Take heed. Without 10-12 new players coming in next season OF QUALITY could see us relegated. This season we were lucky. If Jones hadn't agreed to become our manager we would now be in League 2. If he isn't backed in the summer he will be off. I wouldn't be surprised to see him go anyway.
I so jury still out for me on his management.
