Surely the Ipswich owner will do the decent thing and say don't worry we'll pay for ourselves5

Does that mean we will be paying for Coalville to stay over?
We could put them up in the Antigallican.4 -

Rules for what you can and cant claim for are very complicated when it comes to cup games and do differ for each competition whether it be FA Cup, trophy or vase. But as treasurer at Basildon Town and this being our first season playing in the FA Vase it did cause headaches. But basic rules are that the away team can claim away travel (could be by cars or maybe coach for the players and in some competitions an overnight stay) this is deducted from gate money (I do wonder how honest teams are with these assessments especially the lower you go) and then expenses are deducted for such things as security / policing, staffing (gate persons etc.) You get to claim for turning the floodlights on and I am sure there are others obscure things as well. At the end whatever is left in the pot if any is split. So as a smaller club it is better to get an away game, even though a home tie against a bigger club is the romance of the cup, and not have to worry about any of the above apart from put your expense claim in.

Sensible pricing, although to be fair i think even if we only charged a quid we wouldn't get much of a crowd.0

Sensible pricing for our game. £10/£5. Is this cheaper or same as last year v Havant can anyone remember1
-
All being well I'll go to this. Pricing seems ok. I expect the atmosphere will be electric.0

Am I correct in saying only lower west and lower covered end open?0

Train strike on 5th still on, though the one on the 3rd has now been shifted to the 9th (fortunately the Stevenage game is in between 2 strike days)

£10 to see us get humiliated in front of 3000 fans.
Oh what joy.2 -

I'll wait until after Saturdays game before deciding whether ho go or not. Probably will as I loved the reaction of the Coalville players/fans after the draw and makes it more of an occasion.
One thing though, if we play like we did on tursday night then bung a tenner on Coalville.

My mate who's a Director at Coalville contacted me last night....so far they have sold just over 1500 tickets and expect to sell more today and during the week. he asked me if there would be a big home crowd....I sadly answered that I doubt it due to various factors, not least the potential Train strike.5

With the club unable to decide if they will run Valley Express and me not liking sitting in either West or North Lower I’m not going. However, I feel bad about Coalville not getting a good payday out of it so I’m going to send them the cost of my match ticket as a donation. They’ll actually get more that way than me attending in person.15

We have two tickets, one old man and one man man, they cost £15.
What else is a person supposed to do on Saturday, go shopping?5 -

For £5 it would be rude not to.0
