Poor Solly March. A proper player in the mould of Kinsella for us.
    Hard lines Brighton.

The clue was in both c/h's taking one before him but March has had an outstanding season for Brighton so it's a shame that ultimately it comes down to him missing from the spot. The sort of thing that can define a career.

It was a stinker of a pen though!

First touch went missing for the Brighton sub Undav.
    Is his first name Chas?

Exactly. He was obviously not confident at all, which makes it all the more bizarre that he then attempted the same penalty as he did against us. I feel really sorry for him as he seems like a nice lad.

well what a shite way to end the FA Cup. the two franchise of Manchester against each other.
You'll probably find that a lot of neutrals won't agree. A Manchester derby final will definitely capture the attention more than City v Brighton would have.

This season's FA Cup final on 3 June will revert to a 15:00 BST kick-off for the first time in 12 years.

The match between Manchester United and Manchester City at Wembley was expected to begin between 16:45 and 17:30.

But London's Metropolitan Police has categorised the derby match as high risk and objected to the later kick-off times on security grounds.

It is set to be the first time the game has started at 15:00 since City beat Stoke in 2011.

The premier Classic horse race, the Derby at Epsom, has also been moved to the earlier start time of 13:30 BST instead of 16:30 to avoid clashing with the Wembley final.
