Will be a fake account, only set up 5 days ago, just after someone on here randomly mentioned his name.
Says it was set up in July 2018 on my app...
Don't exactly look genuine but that is a seriously long term plot job!
Usually it will be an old account that someone changes the username of. If you look at who he follows, it's every Indian league team, then a random collection of Indian sports journalists and league news accounts, classic "who to follow" fodder.
All his replies are from Charlton fans, and the liked tweets by the account are mostly Liverpool tweets. If it's real then I'd be incredibly surprised, but I suspect it's some sad little asshat in his bedroom
If they’re worried about squad limit, then it’s their bloody fault for signing cack players in the first place and realising that we need more but possibly will be unable to.
"The central defender has impressed at youth level, starring at the 2018 Under-18 Asian Championships as India conceded no goals in the group stage en route to the quarter-finals. He impressed again on loan at developmental club Indian Arrows before returning to Punjab, turning down offers from bigger Indian clubs, in May. Composed on the ball, a great reader of the game, and capable of excellent, fast, long throw-ins, the teenager has already been earmarked for a quick progression to the full international side."
Was in the guardian top 60 players born in 2003.
It's almost certainly not true as how could he get a work permit anyway?
Been listening on and off to Danny Cowley and how difficult it's been to sign players within the constraints of the budget he has to work with.
He mentions the costs having to fall by as much as two thirds of what he has to spend on individuals. Talked a lot of sense.
Then I thought, how are Pompey doing? I hadn't checked on anyone's results and was shocked to see them top with three straight wins.
This has to highlight two things, how crap our normally excellent recruiting has been and how inept we are within the squad we have to change our formation to suit playing against different opposition.
When we had a lower budget, less back room staff ( and possible interference) we put together a hot potch squad that was there or thereabouts all season.
Look at today's situation. Money invested in the infrastructure, employing people in the commercial side and so called technical directors, the integration of the ladies side, etc and a bigger budget than last year...and we have the likes of Dobson, Clare and McGillivray, arguably sub standard signings and a system of playing out from the back that the keeper and our back four look very uncomfortable with, especially Famewe, and the worst midfield threesome in recent years spelling a recipe for the only option, hoofball.
I hope I'm wrong, but to me I think behind the scenes something is going very pearshaped, and with Tommy being predominantly overseas he isn't seeing the full picture or is listening to the wrong people.
Not a rumour I know but that's not stopped anyone else talking bollocks so I thought I'd chip in.

This is not a defence of our recruitment, which as everyone knows has been sub par, but I feel its really to early to judge against a team like Pompey who have so far played the bottom 3 teams (2 of them at home).
I'd have expected us to win those 3 games as well.
LB left FACT over interference I have known Lee since he was a boy I and my company sponsored him as a kid so I have heard things that was not in the public domain now frankly I am not bothered if you believe or not.
He left because he was going to be sacked and jumped ship.
I won't believe this until you write FACT somewhere in the sentence.

I’m not doubting that’s true but he also jumped before he was pushed. Not a chance Bowyer was making it through the summer as Charlton manager. We were in awful form playing awful football. Much like we are now.
Now it might be the morning coffee buzz I'm currently experiencing but after a few days of despair I'm feeling mildly optimistic this morning.
We keep getting told that we're after 'good' players and they cost money in addition to being wanted by other clubs so they will be difficult to get over the line.
We signed Kirk and I bet we paid a decent fee for him so I'm relatively hopeful that we'll be looking to spend some more dough on some decent players and not just League 2 cast offs. They may well sign but I hope they're seen as a gamble squad type player as opposed to a first 11 starter.
I'll let you know how I feel in 20 mins when the coffee wears off.
We know that Sandgaard passes his eye over players and approves/disapproves based on ability. We've been told so a few times. I personally think that's insane. He has no professional footballing background and is essentially now at the top of our scouting heirarchy, giving the final yes or no. He shouldn't have put himself in that position.
With all due respect to Thomas for his getting us on firm ground, how has he got himself into a role on assessing ability of players, he has to rely on Steve and/or Jed for this, or he may as well just carry out a survey on CL for better advice, sure finance and set budgets, but player recruitment is a specialist roll and I would have thought with his business acumen that was second nature. Leave the player selection to them that know (i hope) Thomas.
Happy to be corrected, but wasn't Airman's point about sponsorship backing in terms of money coming in? Sandgaard has stated that he was looking for partners and that can mean something completely different. I suspect that he had one when we were going to blow the league away and for whatever reason, we don't have that one now.
I'm not stating this as fact but it would explain a lot of things. And indeed, in some ways would temper expectations, which were built up by the club whether we like it or not. Sandgaard surely has the ability to find another partner, but in the meantime I would imagine we would be far more understanding of less ambitious objectives. For this reason, I can't see why he wouldn't come clean unless it is pride.
I really can't see how a sponsorship deal would affect a League 1 club that much. No doubt it would add some stability and even give TS an extra reason to grow the club, but I really cannot imagine a deal being so large that it would change the strategy in terms of transfers.

Or he is still talking either to this hypothetical partner or new ones and doesn't want to risk that by talking publicly and spurring speculation.
I don't think he needs to be informing all and sundry on every single thing that may or may not happen frankly.
Renewing Pearce and Watson looks like an even dumber move in hindsight thanks to this squad cap.
Willingly having poor players in the side that Adkins himself admitted weren't good enough.
Especially when NA is on record as saying last season we had the oldest squad in League one and something along the lines of we are going to freshen things up and bring down the average age.

We don't know but we do know he is looking for partners or a partner because he has previously said so. A reason for not coming clean earlier could be season ticket sales, but that can't be a reason now.
For me, the worry started when we were not mopping up the players on our books that we wanted to keep. JFC didn't seem happy with what he was being offered and there were some other signs that you could read or not read into the situation.
I agree, he doesn't need to involve us in negotiations he is now having, but he could explain why we have a weak squad now and get more understanding and time from the fans. We could see booing on Saturday and just some clarification on where we are and where we still plan to be might help prevent that.

Thing is they were only ever supposed to be back up players, and used as and when, but it seems we should have got the first team in, first eh!

Am I missing something here - I am sure I read that both Watson and Pearce were said to have triggered contract extensions unilaterally. Nothing near to the club offereing them new contracts, but smply being obliged to either keep them or pay off the contracts thus spending money on two players who would then be unavailable to play.
