That should make nicking good players for next to nothing easier for them.
Have they suggested that when buying a player from the EFL they should have to pay as a minimum the average transfer fee that the buying club has spent over the last three years to help the drip down of funds into the lower leagues?

He's pretty much had a month to sort that Championship move though... If he's still training @ Sparrows Lane then I'd certainly question if there has been any interest as clubs must have offered him more than what we would regardless if they were at all by now?
Although we had up until 12 noon today to get them registered in time for Lincoln you have to remember its Saturday. The person at the EFL is probably not working today.
Taylor would be awful. I would hope that now we could stop signing players in the twilight of their career or players with horrific injury records and start building a sturdy and competitive squad.
Great as cover but I’d be really disappointed if he was to be our starting CB. I’d like us to spend a little bit of money on a new CB start building some foundations

Ben Heneghan could be worth a look. Released by Sheffield Utd, should be coming into his prime and I believe he's had a couple of decent years at Blackpool.

I think if we’re serious about promotion then if Maddison is available then we have to go for him. Proven track record at league one.
