Not sure what to make of it, but two people have tweeted in the last few minutes "Taylor stays", not sure if true or a windup.
If it is Southall and Bowyer that would be great. Otherwise I would wait until one of those says it in front of a camera before I would be comfortable.
Using Chromebook and these screenshots are rather massive... Bigger than Sheffield Wednesday. Please stop uploading screenshots to this thread as they're also more likely to be spotted by jobsworths.
I hope for his future credibility as Charlton's CEO that there are at least two signings of some value after those tweets this morning and all that has been said since the takeover.
What does "at least 2 signings of some value mean" ? Do you mean I'm happy to get in a worse player as long as we've shelled out a transfer fee ? Probably not.
if you had to pick one permutation now i think it would be bostock and jch in, taylor stays and we loan a couple - davidson and morgan?? to bristol rovers - i'd be happy with that

No it wasnt either of them, it was someone with a 'twitter' name (I presume it could be his real one!!) of Dean and the other was someone called Marcus Hoare, who said "probably the best news of the window, now for some extra bodies" - Like I said no idea who they are or whether true or a windup.
I am of a different generation but I have no problem with the fun and games, though watching Sky Sports Transfer Centre is excruciating - if I hear about King going from Bournemouth to Man U I will probably reach for the whisky bottle. Their repetitive churn is way, way beyond tedious, but as for MS as any good sales person will tell you, in the real world, you need to have the medals go with it.
The medals? In this case is "deals over the line".
I worked with some great sales people who loved nothing more than a bit of "sparring" but there were those who knew when it was time to play and time to deliver. Can you do both at the same time? Sure, but for those that didn't deliver? Well come performance review...…...
Lets make no mistake this market is a bear pit. I suspect most will be checking whether they still have any fingers after shaking hands in this environment. You are never going to win on anything more than 10%of these "deals" so you had better have more than 2 on the CV when the closing bell sounds.
Otherwise you look a complete prat. Many will shrug it off as part of the "game" but many will not. Credibility does have a shelf life.
Deadline day has been turned into an "entertainment" in itself. No problem with that but when the balloons have deflated and the party is over there is a day job to go back to. Come 9.00a.m Saturday morning there is a clubhouse manager and a group of players to look in the eye - "it was a fun day, great crack, but sorry guys could not get the business done - just does not cut it."
Yes, players today are of a different mindset and there may be a "win" for those who could well have been frozen out but for the "winners" in the clubhouse, with their agents in their ears, its their careers, their playing status, their pay cheque, their win bonuses and I guarantee you within the four walls of the dressing room it still matters.
I recognise the world of Twitter has a developing significance but there is only so much you can do with a 140bytes.
And if you think I am moving from Lyon to Wolfsburg for £48.4mn on £2 a week you can think again.
Have you seen the pollution from the Volkswagen factory?
Bristol rovers saying no contact from Charlton at all today. Looks like we wont be going for JCH.
Maybe I’m reaching but that must mean we’ve got someone lined up? You’d think if we didn’t, Bowyer, Gallen and Southall would be on the phone to as many teams as possible

Here's hoping, but main thing is we keep Taylor

This rollercoaster of a transfer window summed up in a GIF
It swings from mass depression and pissing pants to mass hysteria and jacking off.

This is relegation we are trying to stave off - if it means carrying a slightly bigger squad to minimise the risk so be it.
