“Training ground project manager” is a bit of a stretch. I prefer “Bloke who knows a few people in a hi vis at Sparrows Lane most days”

But yeah - aside from that you’re spot-on

Of course it's still happening. We all just need to try to stay busy and not think about it.

"The rumoured takeover of English football club by firework company Brocks has been confirmed by a Charlton insider. Our source, Mr Swisdom, is a well known figure at the Valley. He told our reporter "I'm at the training ground most days and I know a few people there".

Brocks are said to be paying £77m for the South East London club to Roland Duchatelet, the Belgium genius who has masterminded the club's rise to League 1 status.

    What drives your question?

They're not hi-vis, but training bibs.

The hi-vis mob are only there one day a month to clear out the earthwork collapses into the trench.

EDIT: Have you ever seen the Project Manager down there? Small bloke, bald head, 14 chips on his shoulder.

Hmm someone just told me it’s (edit : rumoured to be) RedBull trying to find out if it’s ‘new’ info, looks like sources on the net so could be BS, I never usually post this kind of stuff but this guy normally gets things right so thought I’d try and verify here.

Have to say, really don’t care to much who takes us over. If it’s Australians,Arabs, Chinese, Scottish or Red Bull, just want owners with ambition,a plan, who respect our past, who want to work with the community, who want to make going to the Valley a pleasure rather than a chore and most importantly very deep pockets.

In the words of bexleyboy/Colin it was all actually agreed in the summer, just no one has got round to completing it yet.
  • @Redhenry @Airman Brown Don't think we haven't noticed your absence. The silence is deafening. ;-)

    Anything new to report guys?
  • Think they’ve been scared off, due to the stupid slagging off they got. Post away chaps

I would hope they have broader shoulders than that tbh.

I can't comment re @Redhenry but I'm pretty confident that it would take a lot more than a few idiots on this thread to deter @Airman Brown if he had something he wanted to add.

Redhenry and Airman Brown have both inboxed me and told me who our new owners are.
Unfortunately they told me not to tell anyone.
