Why does he need to do that at all, and do it via national radio and the only UK media person with whom he has established a rapport though? It is also coming out via Lee Bowyer (in the Standard and privately), staff at The Valley, at least one ex-director and the Sunday tour of the facilities, as well as via other posters on here.
It’s a very elaborate subterfuge when he has the FF next week at which he could get De Turck to put out any message he wants.

It's people's defence mechanism kicking in to avoid being disappointed yet again of no change of ownership and quite understandable. On the other hand there are those who are prepared to keep an open mind until there are hard facts to the contrary. For me I'm cautiously optimistic WIOTOS.

If true, and imo its highly unlikely, that Atlassian are involved then they are big players in their niche market in IT not just in Agile methodology but with Waterfall too - and getting bigger with their JIRA/Confluence products which dominate the market - Serious players with serious dosh.
I’m not sure but if I was a betting man i’d say RD will still be here come the end of the season - know nothing about any of the latest rumours but Williams signing will be announced this morning, another who I cannot name - not a midfielder - should be Monday - then another later in week - and no major player sales this window - a takeover is the ideal, but if not, the above seems a decent second best as none of the incomings will be squad fillers
I never believe in shooting the messenger because it's illogical and often self-defeating but if this does come to nothing I suggest we find that Jim White bastard and burn him alive.

Are you more sure that RD will still be the owner at the end of the season than you were that he'd sell before the end of last season, or less?
