Teixeira was a disgrace today. Not For the incident at the end, but his performance in the 90 minutes. Didn't win a header, misplaced pass after pass. Cunt needs a gym membership pretty quick, out muscled by anyone and everyone near him.
How Stroud is allowed to referee is beyond me. Absolute disgrace of a man.
Shit that Josh went off injured but based on today we still need another 4 players.
I fucking hate Millwall, Morison, all of em. Hope they do get fucked over by the council , scum
What game did you watch! Tex won every ball that mattered and had morrison in his pocket! Although I can't condone his actions at the final whistle
Apart from the 2 he let bounce and as a consequence went over his head.
And lets not forget the fact that Morison bullied him all game and ultimately won as Texiera reacted like a petulant child at the end.
Sh*t game, two poor teams. No one deserved to win. Freezing f-**ing cold. Poor atmosphere from us. Ok From you lot but can never justify a drum. We've been on a great run but just ran out of steam today I think. The fans too.
Plus side, bumped in to some old mates who I haven't seen for years. Currently warming up in a mates motor getting a lift home with a couple of beers. Boy enjoyed it. Oh, and 21 years and counting. "You'll never beat Millwall..."
Seriously don't mind you lot. Proper south London club. Good traditional ground. You'll come good again off the pitch. Oh and the plastic stripey c***s lost again and look in serious trouble. Zero respect for those pricks. Can't stand them. Will stop now as the Stella's starting to talk. Enjoy your evening folks. Miiil
It's not 21 consecutive years though is it ? The clubs were in different divisions for the majority of that time. It's a lot of matches though !
We were the better side in the first half but Millwall were the more likely winners as the game wore on. Their set plays were dangerous and their missed header at the end really should have been curtains for us.
We put out a young, inexperienced and relatively lightweight side and once Magennis got injured, we had no focal point or physicality up front - nor, indeed, anyone in the danger area, given Tony Watt's desire to forage deeper for the ball.
I thought Rudd had a good game and I liked Chris Solly's constructively and necessarily spiteful approach to the game. I didn't think we looked as secure as usual in central defence but enjoyed Tex's dual with Morrison (and hope he got his money's worth with the second yellow).
Very impressed with Byrne in the first half, although he drifted out of the game in the second period. We generally looked heavy legged as the game wore on and I thought that Crofts really held the team together and helped us carve out a point.
Objectively speaking, this was a hard fought game between two limited sides in what is a very limited division. We'll almost certainly be crossing swords next season because I don't think either team are going anywhere.
A decent turn out and atmosphere today - good to see the ground over half full (just).
Big turnout in the north upper and lower compared to every other game except FFAF. Very disjointed team by the end. Unlucky with injuries but also question marks over the two new signings who played a substantial part, although unfair to judge them on one game. Millwall's finishing shocking. Agree both teams will be in L1 next season.
Ref was awful. He really is s grade A c***. Why was the goal disallowed?
Game was poor. Injuries didn't help, losing Mag a big blow.
It's funny how fans latch on to the decisions that go against you but not the ones that go for you. In a motor with 4 of us listening to BBC London and Karl Robinson and really surprised he dug out the ref. Thought he gave you almost ever decision for the first 75 minutes.
He wasn't just giving decisions your way, like the disallowed goal, on a couple of occasions he actually tackled our players. Tex got booked for arms around one of yours. I think it was Dasilva who was wrestled to the ground by yours and he waved play on.
No, Tex was rightly booked for going through from behind in a tackle. Ref was very poor though. He made a bad game worse.

Really? Two diasallowed goals, the second because your keeper dropped the ball unchallenged and a great tackle by the ref to stop us breaking. First decision was probably correct but the second one earned millwall a point and cost us 2. That's why Robinson was unhappy. Even the most biased millwall supporter has to admit that that was a bad decision. Apart from that, the ref was poor generally and gave both teams equally poor decisions. How many bookings for both teams should have been bookings?

First goal was definitely a push on their player... Saw it as clear as day from my end of the East Stand.
Unlucky with the injuries, lucky Millwall didn't score second half. So I think a draw was fair, although I will revise my opinion if the goal should've been allowed.
As for the Tex sending off, I'm glad he did it. Morrison deserved it the scummy mug.
The tackle on rudd when the ball was in his hands! How was that a yellow? If it's a foul it's off. And the rugby tackle on Dasilva! Not even a yellow! What?
The challenge on Rudd came from Gregory not Morrison.
Regardless though surely it's a Red Card... It wasn't an accident; the player made the challenge full well intending to injury a fellow professional so it's an easy red card!!

Agreed, I was pointing out that we didn't get all the decisions for the first 75 minutes as claimed by the millwall fan. If we did, the goal would have been given
It was an attritional, niggly scrubby, scrappy kind of game which we ought to have lost near the end as we fell apart, but luckily Millwall's finishing was woeful. Mind you everything that could go wrong went wrong but stopped short of us losing. Josh Magennis injured after 10 minutes, and Lewis Page after 30 messed up any structure we might have had, it meant that Chicksen had to drop back and we saw Dasilva and of course we saw Tony Watt. Tony Watt is supposed to be a professional sportsman, and the implication of that is he ought to be fit. Not our Tone, fitness is over rated for him if you can put in an 80 minute shift which had exponentially less influence as the game ticked away, and his poor fitness and poor positional play eventually led to an inevitable booking. I am sorry but I believe any one of Umerah, KAG or Hanlan would have been better than Watt today, and I am not really inclined to cut him any slack. Watt needs to improve massively or you could say that he is taking robbing a living to a new level....or at least robbing another player of a place in the squad. In the first half we had several tame efforts on target but Millwall always seemed to carry more threat. The game was lacking any sort of flow or spark or beauty but it was full blooded and competitive. In the second half as Millwall attacked more we were always a bit last ditch, and we had no outlet or way of taking the pressure off. If this is something like the new look Charlton squad that will carry us through a glorious second half of the season then it does not set my pulses racing. It feels like last season again, but with a reduced threat of relegation, but with an assemblage of players that is simply not right. Solly was our best player in my view, and Tex and Bauer had enough to do coping with Gregory and Morrison, and Chicksen had to adapt and I thought did well. Robinson is in danger of obsessing with regard to Aribo and Konsa, both are very good players, but you have to wonder if they are the type of player to run a game...yet. At least Crofts is consistent, and indeed his senior presence was needed late on in the match when we might have crumbled. The lad Byrne was better early on but didn't unlock any doors and I wonder if he can, and once Josh went off that was the end of us carrying any threat. Our fans were much better than usual, and the Millwall fans weren't a patch on Sheffield United and even indeed the hardy band of MKD fans we hosted in the FA Cup. In terms of vocal support Millwall punched below their weight. I think Robinson didn't do great under difficult circumstances today, and i wonder if he can do any better with the resources he has, I would certainly criticise him for not following on with the Tony 'I'm gonna make him cry' Watt threat and naming him as sub. On the plus side it was good to see Ricky Holmes back and playing again. We scraped a point which we deserved mainly because Millwall were poor at finishing, but it was a bit of a crucial game today and because of that it was an overall disappointment.
Not aware what happened with Tex at the end, can anybody enlighten me? I do know that getting Tex out of the building will save a lot on wages...just sayin'!

Morison clearly said something to him at the final whistle and he threw the ball at the back of his head. Morison then went whinging to Stroud who as we all know doesn't need an excuse to get his red card out.
Morison was again Texeira's face after the red card.
We deserved to win that, Millwall were awful. Resorted to hauling down any player who got away up the pitch and relied on the ref to do everything else.

Morison pushed him over so Tex threw the ball at him and Morison went crying to Stroud who gave him a second yellow. Probably justified as Tex shouldn't have reacted but not classy from Morison who then carried on baiting the fans in the WL

Yeah its not 21 years at all. Are we unbeaten against Barcelona in 112 years then?
I can't see any reason at all for claiming we should have won that game. A point was the most we 'deserved'.
Why, we had a perfectly good goal disallowed. Millwall missed a few headers and had a good 10 min spell at the end but we had possession and looked the better team
Ref was awful. He really is s grade A c***. Why was the goal disallowed?

The issue was because Millwall were shooting towards their fans in the First Half... EVERY time their player touched the ground their fans screamed unjustice... When the ball was with a Charlton player their fans would scream for a FK.
Because of that referee pissed his pants when it came to our turn shooting that way and was too afraid to give anything our way.
The occasion when he didnt give the advantage late in the 2nd half was criminal as he didnt rush to give the decision and actually waited to see what happened before deciding to pull it back
Thought Stroud had a beast of a game for the visitors. Broke up play well and affected things all over the park, felt like we were playing against twelve men at times...

Definitely need another striker.

Addicks boss Karl Robinson came into his post-match press conference and played the video of a disallowed goal for Patrick Bauer
the footage proving that Jordan Archer did not get challenged before the German hooked the ball home.
Not aware what happened with Tex at the end, can anybody enlighten me?
