I take it the protests will be back on for tomorrow. There is no point in talking about the football side of things, as until we get Duchalet and Meire out, the club cant move on. This poisonous, toxic and bullying regime cannot be allowed to continue. It may take many years until we get our club back and pride back. Keep protesting chaps in whatever you way can and look forward to the party when they finally go.

The one thing I don't want to happen is this guy get completely ruined by this. This should fall firmly on the CEO and executive team. Yes it may have been a stupid thing to attach his name too, but surely any club correspondence gets signed off before being sent out.

This guy was ex-plod of a fairly senior rank. He will be well used to running his fiefdom with a rod of iron. It comes as quite a culture shock to retired officers when they have to go off and do a job elsewhere. It takes some quite a while to realise they are now just a small fish in a big pond rather than running their own nick.
I would not be at all surprised if this was not his own "initiative".
In the the unlikely event the club admit they have made a mistake then I'd imagine this is the angle they will take. Eager will probably be fired as a result.
Absolutely unfit for his job on this evidence. Still thinks he's a copper rather than a jumped up H&S Officer. Shows all the disdain of fans required by Duchatelet so will probably be promoted rather than sacked.

At times under the Duchatelet regime, I have wondered whether or not things can continue to get worse at the Valley. In terms of the football that is being played on the pitch, it definitely seems to be decreasing in quality, but that is not the issue at hand.
After the ‘wanting the club to fail’ rant, it was clear that this regime had not taken any lessons in public relations, or had any idea how to communicate with fans (or should I say customers?). Katrien Meire’s various public appearances have very definitely cemented this fact, with several questionable comments about the behaviour of fans, and their relationship with the club, comparing Charlton Athletic to a cinema or restaurant. However, it seems that in a week where genuinely positive signings were made, fan-club relations have regressed further.
Now, those who speak negatively of the Duchatelet regime on social media can expect to be watched closely. Whilst this was always probably the case, the revelation that the club are imposing ‘Agreed Behavioural Contracts’ on fans should come as a massive warning sign to those throughout the football world, especially at Charlton. This is a ridiculous, Orwellian action by the club, attempting to quieten resistance, and censor the views of fans on Twitter, Facebook and the like.
Whilst it may be a one-off, this has spread like wildfire on the social media that it aimed to stifle, showing just how inept and clueless this regime is. They have thrown petrol onto the fire, and now the media is drawing attention once again to the issues at our club. Censorship of fans is a dangerous principle, that has drawn widespread condemnation of the club from both within our fanbase and the football community.
I look forward to reading the club’s statement, and how they will attempt to justify this latest miscalculation. If previous statements are to go by, then it will likely aggravate the issue further. We need this regime out of our club, sooner rather than later.
The club have been wanting to ban certain fans for negative comments on social media for a while now , it is only the few remaining sensible employees at the club that have stopped them doing it before now
Okay, let me play devil's advocate for a moment here. Does anyone know what was said, or at least have a summary of it (sorry if I've missed it in the 10 pages)? There are certain things, racism, sexism, threats of violence, etc. when, even if they're said on social media, can and should lead to consequences. The letter is silly and petulant ("Silly and Petulant" should be on the club letterhead), and the ABC (sometimes, you need to look at your acronym and say to yourself "No, I'm going to work a little harder on that") is over the top. But all that said, it would be nice to have a little bit of context.
And yes, we got it wrong with the managers and the players, but that happens, that’s why clubs get relegated, that doesn’t mean that everything else is shit.

Then take legal procedures, and don't sell the Season Ticket to him. If it's an illegal comment then the police is the way to attack this, if it's just general moaning and on the line banter as an entire side of Twitter is - this is just free speech.

* Andy Nelson " our fans are just drunken louts".
* The placing of seats in the Covered End--no consultation and we were expelled to the side
* Mark Aiselwood giving the fans the 2 fingers after a shit game. Mind you he went on to be Player of the Season.
* The famous piece of A4 paper informing us we would be moving to Shitouts Park in 3 weeks. Handed out as you went in against Palarse of all teams
Sadly wining the PR war wont get rid of a cult whose leader leaves abroad
