Contrary to the post saying he jumped into the kitman's minibus, I've just seen a video on Facebook of Fraeye signing autographs outside the ground after the game.
Well done to the fans who stopped him and asked him to sign an autograph. Well done because it's just broke the Guinness World Record for most amount of pitiable, pathetic men in a 2-square-meter plot of car park.
I am not on facebook, can you link that video of today?
We know why Mr Fraeye continues to operate as the interim head coach (you need to have or be taking the Pro Licence to be appointed full time). Mr Murray quite clearly told us the primary requirement for being the head coach is getting on with Roland. So up until this point the reason the club has suffered so much instability and strife is because the coaches who were employed did not fully commit to the Staprix "life" model.
Powell, Riga, Peeters and Luzon are all very fine men but they, (like the supporters of Liege, like the Belgian voters) simply did not understand that which our leader is trying to achieve on our behalf. M Duchatelet is a visionary.
Of course he cannot deliver his vision if the people he employs do not understand it.
Sadly those named above were weak and tempted by foolish independent thoughts and thus fell by the wayside.
All must believe and embrace the faith even or especially when times are hard. We will all ultimately see Roland is right. He is always right. It is we just do not understand. We are one of his children. Like a misguided child who has been listening to the wrong people we must understand he is only running the club this way for our own good. It is tough love.
Ms Meire and Mr Fraeye understand. They are true believers. They have walked the righteous path in the land of chocolates, waffles and fries. They have seen the ways of Staprix, the diligence and endeavours of so many talented video analysts, statisticians, database designers, creative programmers, strategists, business modellers and accountants who scour many, many lands in our name.
We must not listen to the devils who would have us believe their reckless spending is the right way. They are false prophets who would lead us to a promised land where we cannot afford to live and where to even survive will be tempted to be even more reckless to the point of destruction.
We cannot expect our team to travel our land and seek to conquer all before us. In fact if we look into our hearts we will know we were foolish to think we ever could. Roland knows it is hard but we can no longer have any delusions of grandeur. We must understand we simply cannot afford them. We must understand our place in the world.
Yes we had some good fortune to be able, just for a short while, to sit at the highest tables in the land but we must know life is not just about the times of plenty. Life is about a journey and we must understand if we are ever going to truly appreciate what we have we must travel that journey. Of course as with any caring parent Roland could spare the rod and spoil the child but would we in the end truly thank him for such foolishness?
We must know there will be those who will stand at our gates or West Stand Car Park, who will seek to block our path, who will abuse our faith, our gender and our origins but we must be strong and follow the path of our leader and his key disciples to become true believers. We know we need look no further than our own Chairman Murray who has seen the light. Can there be a greater sinner who has repented of his sins?
Remember even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.
As the wise man named Henry often says "first they ignore you, then laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win".
Katrien & Karel are the light. We must follow that light and be assured we will find our true place in the world, put aside false ambitions, put aside false aspirations, put aside false pride, put aside false hopes, put aside false values and just know though the battle may long and wearisome we will find our true place in the world - wherever that may be.
Only Roland can foresee the future but we know we will see green pastures. We will see new sofas. We will hear new music. We will see many, many, many new red seats. We may at first be few in numbers, in fact very few in numbers but we will know in the end, in this life or more likely the next, Roland was right all along.
Though his ways are mysterious and new and oft misunderstood Karel knows the path we seek - he is the chosen one - have faith and be strong my children.

Worth keeping an eye out on ebay to see how much a rare Karel Fraeye autograph is offered for

How do we know that that's after the Colchester game? It looks like it could be anywhere.
Maybe he then clocked the crowd around the team bus and went back inside to await alternative transport arrangements with Katrien Meire.
OR Was he signing autographs on the way to the team coach, to travel back with the players? Reports say he did not travel back with the players.
You might be going a bit Columbo there. It was posted after the game, someone spotted and called out one of their friends in the video, asking why they were looking for an autograph from that twat after such a bad result, to which he replied he was just taking a photo. Seems more likely than not.
I'm not saying he didn't leave via other means of transportation, but the idea that he ran out of a corner exit and dived into a minibus to avoid the furore seems a bit of an exaggeration on evidence.
Also, have you seen the photo of the 'crowd' around the team bus...
Perhaps RD needs to realise that if he gives his customers a bad meal in his restaurant then they may wish to vent their indigestion at his other businesses!
They appointed fraeye in hope that we would have a change in fortunes regarding results, then they could offer the job to him full time, as he would be the cheap option. It's not worked out and and it's completely backfired on the board.
They've never had plans for anyone else to take over full time and now will be panicking. Wouldn't be at all suprised to see riga rock up her next weekend as a panic appointment. Whatever the case, carol has to go.
Anyone for buying a single share and turning up at the next AGM?
How would we go about buying a limited amount of shares in the company (enough that a couple of us could turn up at the AGM which will presumably be in April)?

I agree with this. But will add in addition to being cheap the coach has to be a yes man on board with the philosophy of a 'football factory'.
Melexis shares can be bought from Hargreaves Lansdown, AJ Bell and other online stockbrokers - the shares can even be held in an ISA or SIPP. Only need to buy a single share for each shareholder. Someone would need to research Belgian company law/corporate governance code as to what shareholders can do and say at an AGM - might be possible to put forward and talk to resolutions against appointment of directors since not "fit and proper" or similar. Any such resolutions would be defeated - but that isn't the point.

Well OK. A bit too much Columbo. however a surreptitious escape from Colchester not with the players seems to be accurate at least.
I have still not 100% discounted the Katrien and Karel in the laundry basket story though. I want to hear each of them deny the story for themselves, and before they blame their enemies supporters for the story it was from a BBC Essex man.

If we get three points from those games I think it will be a good haul.
Even a new manager a couple more new players will not get into stride by the end of those games.
If we don't do significantly better than my prediction of 2 points it will need an upturn in form that is frankly very unlikely.
Edit: Swansea go 1-0 up. Appleton out!
