There will be plenty of excuses trotted out, but we lose match after match after match, this time from a winning position. The entire football world can identify our structural problems apart from the delusional Meire and Duchatelet. Duchatelet dismisses at a stroke those who tell it like it is on the internet, and Meire has cemented in her deranged and paranoid attitude long ago...five successful managers my arse Katrien, it really isn't them, it's you and Roland who have set us up to implode and to die as a club. Sick to my back teeth of all of this...I know dear Olly says we didn't deserve that, but it is happening game after game. I am absolutely fecking dreading the cup draw on Monday. I am absolutely dreading the next matches with virtually no players left due to suspension and injury. They won't change, they won't leave, they won't listen, they won't act. We are fecking hostages, and the tragedy is some of our support are even now still in the grip of Stockholm Syndrome
Can't blame it on the ref. We lost that. We were 2-0 up and we blew jot. No excuses.
Well the Red card has been described as doubtful?
It's not just the red card, he does not protect players. In every game I've seen him ref against us he will let a player continuously foul without a booking. It's no coincidence when we play a team who rough us up and get no protection, we lose. We also lose players to injury.
Unfortunately the early second half goal changed the game. Had we scored a third in the first half we would have gone on to win comfortably. That early goal makes the defence more nervy, which leads to Bauer pulling Zamora back, and 10 away from home to the team leading the division I'd always going to be tough. Having to make 2 enforced changes doesn't help matters and ultimately it's cost us.
Anyone claiming the players bottled it or claiming the head coach is tactically inept is quite frankly a moron, there's no manager in the world who's good enough to mastermind a game plan to deal with a sending off and 2 injuries in that situation
But whatever I'm sure many of you will claim Michael Morrison would never have got sent off in that situation, that Tony Watt would have scored Reza's chances and that Chris Powell would have managed us to a glorious win and its all the fault of 'that bitch' Katrien, 'the puppet' Fraeye and the 'Belgian twat' Roland
Lost 3-2 to the unbeaten side at the top of the table, with 10 men. RD out.
Yes of course point taken. But we were 2-0 up, we could have spent the game trying to kick the ball into the sea. There is a fresh excuse game after game...did you see how inexperienced today's squad was? how can we survive this brutal league with kids and strangers and nothing in between?
If anybody can tell me where the tunnel is I'd be grateful, let alone the light at the end of it.
First half we were brilliant and probably should have been at least 3-0 up. Bauer's sending off completely changed the game and Brighton dominated from then on. With 10 men we defended quite well and at the 81st minute I thought that we might hang on.
We didn't deserve to conceed two goals late on and lose. No way. Definitely deserved at least a point I feel.
Before the game most of us would have taken a 3-2 defeat at the unbeaten league leaders. What we need to do is play like we did in the first half against the crap teams around us in the table.
We've got to look at Brighton and see how it can be turned around, they narrowly avoided relegation last season. However, it depends on if you're willing to appoint the right man and back him to go out and sign the players he wants.
24,000 home fans leave the AMEX with smiles on their faces after the game today, no doubt they'll be back. Target 20k, easy peasy.
I don't blame KF because the players need to show more football intelligence, it would have been drilled into them at half time don't give them an early goal, keep it tight, shape etc
How on earth does Baur get himself into a position with the old cart horse Zamora where he had to bring him down and get sent off, Sarr isn't great but Baur has cost us the game in that moment.
As soon as we lost the momentum it was inevitable , they knew it, the players knew it and sadly everyone of us knew as well. I hope you enjoy the highlights tonight Roly you fooking twat.
I said at HT we would need 3 to win. Sorry, i meant 4. We snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. having 3 injuries and a red card and some of our so called fans calling them all the names under the sun on the match tread ! Stockdale's saves, to stop them going 3 or 4 down was crucial.
Too many fans have their own negative narrative now on CL and at the games.
I did demonstrate at the Wednesday and Ipswich game but didn't go today because i give 100% to the players and find it depressing now that others have a different agenda.

I wouldn't. It's a defeat. Why would I take that? Because it's better than 3-0? F that. A defeat is a defeat, regardless of by how much. If you'd offered a draw before the game, I might have taken that, but even that's a bit of a push.

I must be a minority because I wouldn't have taken it.
Although not surprised with the result and not bad losing by the odd goal to the league leaders, With No luck (and we need shitloads) it really looks like relegation for us. I just hope Millwall are still in Div 3.

Never expected anything from this but even with a player down you shouldn't concede three goals in one half. Really gutted as looked like we were going to get a bonus point or three. Still hurts to see us in the bottom three
For all the talk about whether to keep or sell Watt, it's in defence where we need urgent strengthening, Sarr looks all at sea while Bauer has now picked up 2 red cards for professional fouls.
