CHARLTON have decided not to add to their goalkeeping ranks as they look to pursue other targets in the remainder of the transfer window. The Addicks had been looking for a stopper to act as cover for Nick Pope - who stepped into the side after first-choice Stephen Henderson underwent shoulder surgery. But Henderson is not that far from a return to being in contention and Pope has impressed, keeping two clean sheets in the Championship. Former Liverpool keeper Brad Jones had been training with the Addicks last week but signed a one-year deal with Bradford on Monday. And former Arsenal shotstopper Stuart Taylor had also been in talks about a Valley move. But Charlton will not move in that area - unless their options are depleted any further. The Addicks’ priority is to bring in a winger before the summer window closes.

You do spout some daft panicky nonsense golfie. We have Tony Watt, who has 3 goals in 4 games and won't be out for long. Sure, we need another striker as long as Igor is out, but who is this mystery 20 goal a season man you speak of? Andre Gray didn't even get 20 league goals last season and he's valued at £9 million. Do you have a name in mind that we can afford and who will score 20 goals? Because in these months of posts I haven't seen you name one. And if there isn't one then what's the point in panicking over something that can't happen?
With Watt out temporarily don't see why we wouldn't give KAG and Makienok a go? if Watt was out long term as well as Vetokele then I'd start to worry. But JBG still about who can score, Cousins can ship as well. bauer looking dangerous at corners is going to score soon. Plus we have Bergdich on the wing who looks threatening.
