Looking at your comments on the match thread, you aren't going to give the Head Coach any credit so fill your boots.
  • Got to the ground at 2.45, could not see any people distributing.

Have they all gone or will there be some available on Tuesday.
  • Snap, sadly couldn't get a copy at 2.45 and wandered around a fair bit trying to find one.

The interview is excellent ...in fact the whole issue is good. It does reveal the pressures CP was working under but I still believe a network approach can work. For example, how else would we have got Tony Watt?

Confirms that RD made quite a few mistakes at the start and continued to do so for a while.

Not a good situation for CP to be in so he did the right thing. We are now in a new regime which I think will work out ...yes I know I have been stating this continuously but I am quietly confident as I have always been. It just takes time.

Do we still need dialogue with RD ...100% yes. Will he give it ...no idea but we keep trying.

Do I now think the timing of the interview was right? No I don't. But in the light of today's result I can't be bothered to quibble. We are all Charlton so let's enjoy it.

Well done Weegie for a terrific article, and to the Trust for a good issue of TNT.

Now let's start what we all agreed in Woolwich.
gracious remarks Stonemuse, appreciated. The result is the best possible way to move on (damn, I couldn't think of another phrase)

Only one copy per five fans. Has Michael Gove joined Trust Board ;0)

  • RW kept 1k back for Tuesday, but thanks to the big crowd and an excellent turnout of volunteers we could have done 10k, and had pretty much run out by about 2:30
  • Must be said that a few people in the team gulped when @razil insisted on a 5k print run. Well done, mate.
  • Yes, a fascinating article Weegie. Really revealing.

It's also interesting that RD's recruitment policy has changed considerably since CP's days.

I also enjoyed the rest of the mag, including the article about pre-match pints, by, erm, me.

We kept a load back for Tuesday for the "real" supporters so there should be plenty available at the stall area until about 7.30pm

However, for people of the calibre of Elfsborg & AFKA, personal delivery to your house is the least we can offer. What time would tomorrow would suit you ?

I'm touched, will pop along on Tuesday to save you the inconvenience, and miss out on your Sunday roast.
  • Yeah, yeah, yeah - forget Chris Powell, what about the Valley Express article ?!!

For those that couldn't get a copy we'll be distributing at Tuesdays game, if you fail to get a copy again then you'll have to question your own commitment to Charlton and ultimately your place on this earth.
  • Found it harder to get one than a programme today.
  • so how do Trust members who can't attend home matches see a copy TNT9 as there does not appear any way of seeing it on the Trust site?

7.15 with a News of The World would be much appreciated Pico :-)

It's normally available in the members area of our site - apologies if it isn't there yet, we're only men and 3-0 victories don't come along very often.

It's not there yet, I was looking for it today as I missed out on one earlier.

Anneka Rise failed this weekend's treasure hunt by failing to get a copy of the match day programme, a copy of the trust's pamphlet and a kiss from the fella with the white stripe on his back from the halfway line.

But if you have the issue ready and available to give out on a matchday why can't it be available in the members area of the trust site at the same time. Can't be that difficult to do. Just a point and for paid up members who might not be able to get to the match not too much to ask.

Fair point. Apologies. "Technical difficulties". Will be fixed as soon as possible.

Any members who didn't get one, please e mail secretary@castrust.org and we'll sort something out quickly.
  • I'll put a couple of signed copies on ebay when I finally get home ;-)
  • I couldn't find any on my way down from the bugle to the ground. Kept seeing Beyond Parody which did make me chuckle but not enough to buy.
