  • The solution might be to move Charlton Athletic to Belgium or Israel.
  • Skipped the 'Immigration' modedule in that Law degree Katrien?
  • When you think it won't get any more embarrassing
  • Anybody seen that documentary series UK Border force or something? In that, teams of people swoop on moody weddings and also takeaway businesses and nick people working without a permit?
  • edited January 2015
The icing on top of a very tall and large cake. They should make a documentary of this farce.
  • Hold on let's rewind,

has it gone wrong at the Charlton end or the people who supply the work permit?

  • Hahahahahaha wow
  • Does that mean he broke the law when he took training ?
  • It's a farce regardless of whose fault it is.
  • Hahahahahaha we are an absolute farce! How can ANYONE continue to defend our ownership? I suppose if his work permit does get rejected we've got 19 other candidates who we could bring in though. Not even embarrassed by this, should've seen it coming

Skipped the spelling lessons at primary school, Bubble ?

    Charming

If he didn't have a permit to work, and worked, it looks as if he broke the law, even if the delay was the fault of the Home Office.
  • And people thought Jiminez and Slater didn't know what they were doing....
  • Unless she's a specialist immigration lawyer then I expect she would have.

  • Is it a case of some anti-Semitic terrorist(s) sabotaging the fax machine?
  • I cant see what all the fuss is about but I suppose it makes all the RD haters & doom mongers pleased. In reality Luzon has seen the players train & even if he doesn't pick the side I imagine he's had a big say into who starts etc and sitting in the stands will probably help anyway.

I recall that CP's sitting in the stand at Chef Wendy before taking over.............but hey, that wasn't a story was it

    No.

Because he's a British citizen and doesn't need a work permit to "work".

GL HAS been working without one though. There are videos and official club communications talking about it.
  • Beyond Parody
  • @golfaddick if you can't see the difference in the two scenarios then lord help you.
  • Could it be that he's buggered off after three days and the work permit thing is just a ploy. Now wouldn't that be funny.
  • LOL

I don't care who's at fault, after the last week at CAFC this is the cherry on top of the icing on the cake.
  • This does not suprise am obviously our owners did their homework .
  • Trying to replay the video on CAFC player without success.
