"With the agreement in place, supporters will get a first look at the club’s brand new home kit for the 2014/15 season, in addition to news of further sponsorships, in the coming days."

    interesting...

I wouldn't be surprised if Greenwich Uni aren't paying us any money at all. If that's the case I fully expect us to have some ugly brand logos on backs of shirts, shorts and sleeves next season. Nice.

i dont know, these days with the hike in tuition fees universities have money to burn. I went to the university of west london (so not a fancy university, far from it) and the fee hike happened in my final year and by the end of the year they had redone most of the lecture halls and were beginning to build a brand new student union building.

If it brings in extra ££££ while meaning we can have Greenwich Uni paying less/or nothing to be on the front, then id be happy to give up some empty space on a bit of fabric.
  • Continental sponsorship model. Most of you cracked it already

Really can't see what's all the fuss is about, as long as the home shirt is red

UoG has money. has made a surplus for several years. not the first University sponsorship deal. Bucks New sponsor Wycombe Wanderers

also David Maguire (the VC) made a point of saying he wants the university to be more commercial. i am keen for University to do more work with CACT as there are lots of opportunities for good work on both sides of this partnership.

The University of Greenwich is positioned to grow in status and attractiveness to students, and in recognition in the wider academic world. There are many complex factors but one is that effectively Uni's have to compete for students these days and if I had just done my A-levels at a local school, then not moving away may be a realistic call financially. London is a big place, and U of G can attract a fair few students who need to stay here faced with the £9000 a year fees. It is also far more attractive to overseas students than Uni's like Bournemouth and Luton.
Charlton being linked up with our local Uni is definitely a 'good thing' for both parties, and in my view a good thing anyway (especially in comparison to gambling and pay day loans). There is a potential for both parties to benefit from this.

Right Guard on the back of the shirt. Total defence from the sweating of the asset.

Anyway, I thought these evil Belgians were gutting the club of its morals, if that was true we would be having a pay day loans company on the shirt.
  • Happy with the Greenwich University connection, lots of community connection possibilities, smart long-term benefits, could be interesting.

With our track record of sponsors during the 2000s, let's hope the University of Greenwich don't go broke :-)

Those girls look better from behind than face to face to be honest.
Are they testing out a club shewee?

Poundland would have been more apt as it would clearly state our transfer budget.
