Far too much wrong with that to work out what to write fkrst. Think i am just going to have a cuppa and look at the league table. If Jacko and Solly can stand upright and breathe by Saturday suffice to say they are straight back in.
Square pegs in round holes tonight . Players out of position and bad substitutions. Wiggins is no right back and he looked uncomfortable all night . What's wrong with Hughes? Powell had an off night with his decisions but hes been fantastic all season so we can't be too harsh but it's no goal in open play since Jan 2nd and that's a worry. Fans that booed at the end don't deserve a winning team. Disgracefull .
obviously two points dropped and CP does need to address something...but what? we arent turning out the same sort of performances as the 1st half of the season...why?
as a supporter i dont know the answers to those questions but im hoping as manager Powell does.
I am still 100% behind everyone at the club and anyone who isnt needs their head testing.
wasnt there--disapointed in the result--- over the moon we are 12 points above 3rd place.----with our squad we should be able to handle afew injuries---looking forward to Saturdays and being there--not expecting a good football match but think we might turn em over.
CP getting really tested here, and as usual we really miss jacko, bwp not scoring still really putting pressure on the team. Think we need as many goal scorers on the pitch as possible so waggy must start on the left perhaps, and maybe hughes in for stephens for a bit to release hollands more. Will jacko be back for Stephange? Seems odd with such an apparently good right back stand in in Morro we chose to play our 1st choice left back out of position, plus a too flat midfield at home against a team way below us.
Couldn't make it tonight, as didn't finish work in time to get there. From what I hear, Kermy played very well and the rest were average at best. Its gonna get very close towards the top of the league soon. We need to win on Saturday, as I expect Huddersfield will beat Exeter at home.
Couldn't make it unfortunately tonight but not really surprised by the result. For some reason we always seem to find these midweek home games against teams in the bottom half difficult. JJ still out and no Solly either I hear, presumably both injured?
Hate to say it but Powell has had a shocker. So much wrong with the starting line up. As soon as we moved green to the right we actually had some threat but we immediately take him off for Wagstaff who just ran around in circles and dived. Pritchard should have gone off for him. Also Hayes for Kermorgant would have worked so we could actually create something for Bwp and it took until the 81st minute to put Wiggins at left back...Oh well top of the league and all that
Razil quite honestly after what he offered tonight waggy shouldnt be in the squad again when haynes is fit. Never stopped moaning never did anything never put a cross in might as well have left Green on.

Our great squad suddenly looks a bit thin and, with injuries to Jackson and Solly(?), we're struggling. Wiggins is arguably our best attacking player and was completely wasted at right back tonight in a game where you'd expect us to be on the front foot. I like Evina but he had a nightmare start to the second half and that change should have been made after an hour not with five minutes to go.
Regardless of all that, most worrying (is that allowed yet?) is the fact that we just seem to be non existent as an attacking force these days.
Ok was just by the commentary, perhaps hes been out too long i wdnt have subbed green for him tho either as smithy says, talking of smithy can we recall our loaned out striker?
Our performances of late have been flat some of powells decisions of late have been very baffling .Theses next few months will know doubt be his toughest yet but it is plain to see either the pressure of being top for so long or so close to promotion is affecting the players .But in sir Chris I trust .
Not good enough. Midfield of Stephens and Hollands have completely lost their way. Why on earth was Dale playing consistently five yards behind Danny. Green ineffective and Pritchard is not a wide player. He got sucked inside so often thus exposing Evina who looked very short on confidence. Front two huffed and puffed but were isolated for much of the match. Two centre backs looked good as you would expect and Hamer untroubled. Did we actually make their GK make a save ? I am now seriously concerned as we are looking poorer by the match. Odd decisions by CP. need our midfield to tick again otherwise this could be a very nervy end to the season. My verdict for tonight was quite frankly CRAP.
So frustrating. If you weren't there don't listen to people saying it was an 'awful performance'. It wasn't. But still there was a lot wrong with it. If BWP had scored the one that went wide and the Lino had not flagged him offside when in his OWN HALF then it probably would have been a different story. Clarke is dire and should be last in the pecking order. Evinia looked decent but better going forward. I love Wiggins to death but he cannot play LB. Stephens is too negative and goes backwards too much. Waggy did nothing to merit a starting place and despite the increasing feeling that changes are needed, Kermit was absolutely everywhere and it would be a crime to drop him.
No goals from open play (not counting Greenie Exeter) since Jan 2nd now.
BWP was lively though and was lively as a sub on Saturday the decision to take him off tonight was atrocious. He is a goalscorer it will come right but you need to trust him and let him have 90mins especially after a rest. He is barely getting a sniff of goal and that is far more to do with the service than his own game.
Another below par performance and a frustrating night. Those who booed should be ashamed. Top of the league, 7 points of second and 12 clear of 3rd!
Just lacked that real spark.
In terms of individuals, I really don't see how people can say Waggy is a better option than Green. I accept that Waggy hasn't played in a couple of months, but if he didn't throw himself on the floor and moan as much, then we might actually get something from him being on the pitch! Pritchard wasn't great in my opinion, but he was being played out of position. I really don't rate Clarke, and am starting to question whether Swindon got the better end of that deal! I also wonder what people think of Stephens performance night? As much as I rate the guy, I feel he slows the game down for us, which ruins our forward momentum, and against teams like rochdale etc. I think we need to play at a higher tempo, which is more suited to the likes of Hughes and Russell. I would say that we rely on knocking the ball long to kermorgant too often, but the guy is just a beast, so I can't knock him.
Hopefully we can pick ourselves up and push on again. Which I firmly believe we will do, and win this league COYR
4-5-1 against stevenage perhaps? Stick Hughes in the middle to give Hollands and Stephens more freedom to go forward to create something. Im sure Kermit can hold the line up top on his own.
to cautious. learnt that from curbs. team doesn't push forward enough. especially at home against sides we should have the upper hand on being where we are in the table.
I really like wagstaff but it's getting harder and harder to defend him. Was given a chance tonight and didn't take it. Chrissy messed up his selections and substitutions a bit tonight but he's earnt the luxury of being able to do that by building up the points gap he has. Sheffield united will smell blood now however.
@Smithy sums it for me, Powells had a mare tonight, why not Hughes at right back, wiggy on the left with evina in front of him and green on the right, square pegs in round holes and then to stubborn to change it at HT...will let him off this one as he's been superb but I hope he's learnt from it!

That's nuts.
