Said above and I agree that our boys will want to play in this one...who wouldn't want to play in front of 1,000 of our loyal supporters and 6,000 plastics when we're top of the Ryman League (South).
Jeez these guys are lower than the confluence, if our offense puts down plays to the level of the Premier, we will be three strikes up before the first commercial break... Go Whites !

Sweet baby Jesus and the Orphans....those guys need to take a time out
Usually you get away fans posting on here a few days before the game, even in division 3, we won't get that with Fulham! And that's despite the FA cup being bigger than the Super Bowl.

It is possible to beat them , they are premier league but not the best and 7000 fans will boost the players confidence they may put reserves out as well
There's seven days to recover from this game, I personally wouldn't care if we went out miserably, but I'd like to see our strongest team have a challenge like this as I believe they'll only learn from it, fingers crossed for no injuries goes without saying.
Also a lot of our players who've never faced top flight opposition will be licking their lips at the prospect.
My thoughts exactly, mate.
But in SCP we trust so whatever plan he has for this game is fine by me.
nope afraid not. Is there support much worse than ours? tell me why
Have a look at Bingaddick's recent post on the Sheffield Wednesday Away thread regarding our fan base compared to theirs which is also relevant here. Additionally Charlton and the local area back in the day had loads of industry (Siemans, Stones, British Ropes, The Royal Arsenal etc) from which the workers would flock to the Valley on a Saturday afternoon in their tens of thousands. This love for the club will have been passed down through the generations as it did from my grandfather and father. Whilst a lot of our fan base will have since migrated into the suburbs and Kent it has been rejuvinated since the return to the Valley, target 10,000 and the Premiership years. Fulham have never had the hinterland we had from which to build a fanbase and it is much more difficult to travel into their part of London for games especially by car. Also they have never won any major honours apart from the Inter Toto Cup! in 2002. The same goes for QPR, although they did win the League Cup in 1967, plus both these West London teams have also had Chelsea (apart from a few lean years) to contend with on their doorsteps as a top flight club. Palarse and Mllsmall have never influenced our support in the same. The Valley's capacity in the days of terracing was another bonus at over 70,000 whereas Fulham's would have been closer to 50,000. That's my take on it anyway but I am sure there will be others on here disagreeing and offering alternative explanations which is what this forum is all about.

I know I just quoted myself, but I can't stop reading this and laughing. Its like a wonderful late Christmas present. Thank you Yank Fulham fan. Thank you.
Chris Powell and the team should be really up for this match. He should tell the team to go out and enjoy this match and play to the best of their ability. Because although it is highly unlikely, it is possible that both teams could be playing each other in the same division next season. This is a chance to match ourselves against a top Championship/poor Premiership team.
