ryan harley was unlucky, got a move to swansea from exeter last year in jan but agreed to be loaned back to exeter, swansea got promoted and deemed him surplus where he was loaned to brighton not sure how he got on there but i think he'd be a good signing.
my dads friend knows some of the board members at charlton and told me about the nike deal a while back, apparently strong suggestions within the last day or so that solly will join man united in the summer and an agreement is close i know hes an arsenal fan but may be possible as man utd lack natural right backs massively! apparently the board are willing to sell with the offer that is on the table (although this is the only information ive been told)
im not doubting or calling you a liar but knowing the nike deal wasn't a secret i spoke with the skipper and he said they've know about the nike deal for a fair few months, and i doubt united would sign their first choice right back from lg 1.

Why not? Arsenal did...
Jenkinson not first choice. But Solly could be back up. Heard a few rumours Rafael could be going and Jones will be Utd's RB next year

Brighton signed him on a 3 year deal (for 250k) . The majority of their fans can't wait to get rid.
He's still everything he was when I used to watch him play for Weston-super-Mare in Conference South - A lightweight set piece 'specialist' with a dodgy attitude.
4 bids shows that the club really wants him and has faith in his ability. He gets to stay in London as well. Young, up and coming player, who fits perfectly into the current profile of the squad. If he decides to move to Charlton, we are the first step of the way to having a very competitive team next season. A solid central defence is essential. Morrisson, Cort, Osbourne and Mat Taylor is a pretty solid looking set of central defenders. The best we have had for a long time.
Lets hope Karleigh Osbourne joins Charlton. We are on the move up as a club.

Plus solly and wiggins either side and you have a good defence.
This sort of rumour is why I enjoy Football Rumours but never take it seriously
12 May 2012 11:06:03 At a recent charity function I was advised that Dutch, former Real Madrid player Royston Drenthe is in talks with Charlton on a pay-as-you-play deal following the expiry of his contract at the Bernabeu. After his stuttering season with Everton and well documented personal issues he has held initial talks with Chris Powell about getting his career back on track and is taking a significant salary reduction with a view to getting himself playing regular football
This all came about as a result of his agent being friends with Charlton owner Tony Jiminez
Another gem
12 May 2012 14:14:02 Charlton and Millwall in discussions about swap deal for Bradley wright Phillips with n'gessan and bouazza going other way
Mark Gower was linked in a Swansea rumour
More believably or is it wishful thinking

Crickey I wonder how many names of players we've been linked too on that website, who have never ended up at the valley, it's a about as reliable as an old banger!
David Bell from Coventry City - midfielder / winger. 28 years old. 5ft 10. Previously at Leicester then Norwich and moved to Coventry City for £500,000 allegedly.
No idea if he is any good. I couldn't find much comments good or bad. The Coventry OS, was nice about him, but they would say that. One comment from a report on Irish footballers, that said he came on for 24 minutes as sub and made no impact. 45 yard goal of the season 2008/09 against Doncaster. Has a contract to 2015 with Coventry, signed last year when they probably didn't expect to get relegated. Coventry pay 1.2 million or some similar huge rent for their stadium. The club are in some financial trouble and may be looking to off load some of their higher earners. Some injuries in the past.
Re David Bell, on the Guardian FL blog, the Coventry fan slated him, said he had one good performance all season and was bottom of the class (Alonso was ours).
Read this morning, Ipswich and Leicester are interested in Anthony Gerrard at Cardiff, possibly worth looking at as he has good Championship experience and we could sing "he's better than Steve". Don't let him near pens though.
Alesandro Del Piero is out of contract and said England is possibly his destination next season... I've signed him on every FIFA since about 2000. You know what to do Sir Chris!
Sanchez Watt would be a good signing in my opinion especially if permanent.
A left footer who has been on loan to Southend ,Leeds ,Wednesday and Crawley .
Bit of an odd record in that after his loan in the Championship with Leeds where he was a regular I think, he has dropped lower and lower. Got a lot of talent for sure, maybe needs a boss like Powell to get him back on track.
From what I understand Sanchez Watt either needs a couple of back-handers or someone to make him feel like a million dollars. One of those that has all the potential but mentally not there to fulfil it.
Rich Cawley just tweeted saying that we are not interested in Osbourne. He confirms our interest in January but says we are now more interested in 'bigger targets'.
I like the 'bigger targets' part of that personally..

Would be gutted if he ended up at Charlton.

We may have wanted him then but we have since signed both Morrison and Cort.
May still want him now but Powell could well have moved on and be seeking better.

Found by total coincidence.

Heard we might be trying to sign Stuart Beavon from Wycombe Wanderers who was there top scorer with around 20 league goals this season.
Charlton and Rotherham are set to battle it out for Arsenal youngster Sanchez Watt. #rumours
