Lisbie often flattered to deceive but in the year that he scored the hattrick against Lpool he really seemed to have become the striker/winger that many of us had hoped for. At the time it was rumoured that Di Canio had given him a lot of help. After Lpool game he was badly injured, then he left and has done well elsewhere. I would welcome him back, but only if the fans gave him a chance to prove himself

He has lacked matches since signing for us, had a decent run in the side when we were in The Championship and done quality but got injured. Last season he played twice I think and didn't look the same player. Which ever club signs him will have a decent enough player if they can get his confidence back.

Jay McEverley would be a good signing, as i recall he looked good when on-loan a couple of years back, or at least looked like he gave a damn, not always the case with loanees then.

Yes! I told my housemate to put Youga to Arsenal on there, purely cos he's French. He decided he'd put a load of other players too, in order to give the story 'credibility', and see how many mentions he can get. All the other players were just the last 2 years' worth of winners of best young player for each of the football leagues, apart from Jonjo.
So far it's been mentioned on 3 arsenal forums (with someone even saying that it makes sense because he's french, can be used as an incentive to buy Benzema and then preceding to quote something from here saying he was quality before he got injured), and obv here.
In fairness there's a lot of crap on that site, but I did see that West Ham were signing Hitzlesperger when we sent that in and that was about 3 hours before they confirmed it.
