She peaked on God's Gift for me. Used to be late on ITV in the late 90s. 1am sort of thing, narrated by Stuart Hall
That's late to stay up just for a wank

Well, it was before the days of

    You Jizz
    Hamster tube
    Monster sex tube
    Redtube
    Pornhub
    Spankwire
    Tube8
    Slutload
    And loose women

I had to take what I could get, regardless of time
  • The ever increasing size of people's take on luggage or hand luggage on flights. Particularly long haul. I'm assuming everyone has a main suitcase for long haul, so unless you're a parent travelling with Children, what the hell do you need in there. Some of the bags on my flight just as I'm taking off could house Makienok. Small igloos with Inuits I'm guessing.

Ridiculous as they all take time trying to fit these massive bags into the holdalls
  • Currently, whilst watching MOTD, Alan Shearer and Ian Wright.

Honestly, what is the point of them? They add nothing of any good to a football programme in any way.

As you are doing with that comment.
    What is the difference?

    Cuter animals?

Always makes me laugh buying dolphin friendly tuna. No Dolphins were harmed whilst we killed these tuna.
    We eat fish.

I don't. No food with a face for me.
No vegetables off of Thats Life, then?
  • Anytime we are told to move any time we mention Chris Powell's name. We have moved on. But just because we have to move on and we have moved on does not mean we should forget him and not remember his spells as player and manager with fondness.

    Move on

I'm intrigued. How often do you have to watch other people brushing their teeth in order for this to get to the point where it annoys you?

Teaching my daughter. My wife did it the "wrong" way. Then daughter copied her and refuses to budge. Maybe it's me. Maybe it's me.

EDIT to show how far I've fallen, I just missed the opportunity to tell loads of people I've never met that the reason was I was in a different bed every night.

Also people who say "clean their teeth" rather than "brush their teeth" annoy me

    Move on
After all anytime somebody metions Curbs or Lennie nobody ever says move on. So why Powelly more than anyone else? I reckon that fans that say move on are the ones who can't move on.

Where do you stand on people who don't put water on the brush at all? As I certainly find my mouth comes with it's own lubricant (stop sniggering at the back) called "saliva"...
  • I love this thread but this teeth cleaning thing is a bit weird I have been with Mrs. Dave for nearly 40 years and I haven't the first clue how she cleans her teeth hitherto I haven't considered it something with any spectator value.

There's a Syria one brewing as well. I'm also hoping for one of the refugees we've taken in to commit a crime, that'll kick start that one again. Be good if another bank crashed, we could debate the merits of the banking culture.

Perhaps another property one, the rights and wrongs of foreign developers. The mayoral candidate debate. These are all ideas I'm mulling over for new discussion topics.

  • Doesn't annoy me. Was summing up the 500 posts that Afka has to trawl through.
